Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew)
The Emerald Buddha image, the most important Buddha image in Thailand is enshrined inside the ordination hall of the temple. The Emerald Buddha image wasn't cast from Emerald but was cast from high quality of green jade. We found the Buddha image in 1432. You come to Thailand, you should go and pray for your luck.
The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace was constructed together with the founding of Bangkok in 1782 when King Rama 1 ascended to the throne and founded a new dynasty. The Grand Palace is very important as it used to be the palladium of the state. It was used for both the royal residence and the administrative center of the country in the government system of absolute monarchy. Today, the palace is used just for ceremonials. The architectural plan of this palace was almost identical in every detail to the Grand Palace of the former capital of Ayutthaya (about 600 years ago) because the King wanted to recreate the glory of the city as it was in the past. So it was completely first built in traditional Thai style. However, at various periods, the influences from other nations affect to the architecture in Thailand in different reigns such as the Chinese elements introduced by King Rama 3 in the early 19th century and the western building style introduced by King Rama 5 in the late 19th century.

May was very accommodating of my mobility issues. She made sure we took the easiest paths and found seating whenever possible. Her knowledge of the Thai kingdom and history is very deep. I learned so much in such a short period. Thank you, May, for being so considerate and kind.

Alex is a perfect tour guide for the palace and temple tour. You will get all the needed information and will learn a lot about culture, history and palace and temple specific topics. We also can recommend all the private tours organized from Nok. During our stay in Bangkok we had 4 private tours (TukTuk Food, railway and floating market, Ayutthaya and boat tour as well as palace and temple tour). All the tours are perfect organized and the tour guides knows exactly what‘s needed. Also thank you to Mr. One, our driver. @Nok - thanks a lot for the tour proposal and perfect organization.

From start to finish, Kay provided top-notch service. She was waiting in our lobby 30 minutes early. Her knowledge of the Grand Palace is deep, and she pointed out small details in the architecture we never would have noticed. It was a very hot day, but Kay’s energy stayed high throughout.

This was our first time in Bangkok and Poppy gave us the perfect introduction. The temples are so beautiful it’s hard to describe. Poppy was great at explaining the ""dos and don'ts"" of temple etiquette. We felt very comfortable and well-informed. 10/10 experience!

May is a fantastic guide. She is very bubbly and has great energy. The temples are a lot of walking, but May made it feel easy with her fun facts and stops for water. Wat Arun is truly a work of art, and May explained the symbolism of the different levels. Excellent tour!

Definitely worth the price for a private experience. Tina was very professional and her English was perfect. The detail at the Grand Palace is insane so much gold! Wat Arun across the river is so iconic.

The Grand Palace is massive, but Poppy made navigating it feel easy. She’s got a great personality very chill and easy to talk to. She also knows a lot about the palace history and the wall paintings. If you want a guide who is knowledgeable and friendly without being too formal, I’d recommend Poppy. It was a great experience!

Walking through the Grand Palace felt like being in a movie. The detail on the demons guarding the gates is insane! Thanks Bee for the 'insider' stories about the palace life. It wasn't just dates and facts; it was like hearing a cool drama from the past. I really appreciate how you kept us away from the big tour groups so we could actually hear you speak. You made a busy place feel like our own private tour. Cheers!

I don't like big tour buses. This private gig with Kay was exactly what I wanted. Just me and my girlfriend. Kay was super flexible and let us spend more time at The Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Reclining Buddha because we loved the vibe there. Totally worth it.

I am an architecture student and Poppy was able to answer all my nerdy questions about the Grand Palace designs! She is so knowledgeable. The detail at the Reclining Buddha is also stunning. Thank you for a wonderful morning.
