Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
Visiting Wat Trimitr (Golden Buddha Temple) was an unforgettable experience. The temple houses the world-famous Golden Buddha, a solid-gold statue that is both breathtaking and historically fascinating. This remarkable Buddha image weighs approximately 5.5 tons (5,500 kg) and stands about 3 meters tall with a beautifully proportioned width. Its long history is equally impressive—the statue was once covered in plaster for centuries to disguise it from invading armies, and its true golden nature was only rediscovered in the 1950s after an accidental drop revealed the gold beneath. The atmosphere at the temple is peaceful and well-organized, making it easy for visitors to explore and learn about its cultural significance. Whether you're interested in Thai history, Buddhist art, or simply want to see one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks, Wat Trimitr is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Bangkok!
Chinatown - Bangkok
Driving through Chinatown (Yaowarat), you’ll get a clear view of one of Bangkok’s oldest and most culturally rich neighborhoods. As we pass along Yaowarat Road, you’ll notice traditional Chinese shophouses, gold shops that have operated for generations, bustling fresh markets, and local vendors preparing ingredients for the day’s meals. You’ll experience the authentic daytime charm, busy streets, colorful shop signs, and the lively movement of local life. Chinatown has a long history dating back to the late 1700s, when Chinese merchants settled in this area after Bangkok became the capital. Today, it remains a center of trade, culture, and community. As we drive through, your guide will point out key spots such as the famous gold shops, old tea houses, Chinese temples, and local markets that reflect the neighborhood’s deep heritage. Even without stopping, the daytime view offers a wonderful glimpse into the daily rhythm and rich traditions of this historic district.

For the price, getting a private car and a guide like Patrick is a steal. He took us through the Golden Buddha temple and then the Reclining Buddha with zero wait time. The Marble Temple was the perfect final stop. We felt like VIPs the whole morning!

We only had a half-day before our flight. Annie was super punctual and got us through the three temples without feeling rushed. Great way to see the highlights quickly.

If you get Ken as your guide, you’re in for a treat. He’s hilarious and knows so many random facts about the city. The private van was freezing cold and the whole trip was just "easy breezy.

This tour was worth every penny. Ken was waiting for us right on time with a huge smile, which immediately made us feel welcomed and excited for the day ahead. The Golden Buddha is a sight to behold, but the Reclining Buddha absolutely blew my mind it’s unbelievably massive and truly unforgettable! Throughout the tour, Ken was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. He guided us efficiently through each location, helping us avoid crowds and making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and pays attention to the little details that make a big difference. If you’re looking for a well-organized and enjoyable day with a friendly and professional guide, Ken is definitely your guy. Highly recommended!

Had a great time visiting the temples with Ken. He was very punctual and the car was comfortable. The Golden Buddha is mind-blowing. Definitely worth the price for a private tour.

Everything about this tour was 5 star. From the comfortable, air-conditioned car to the incredible temples. Patrick was a fantastic guide very soft-spoken and knowledgeable. The Golden Buddha Temple was a great start, but the Reclining Buddha really stays with you; the size is just hard to wrap your head around! We loved the Marble Temple for its unique style. Patrick was very attentive; he noticed my camera battery was dying and even helped me find a place to charge it for a few minutes. Little things like that make a huge difference. Such a wonderful experience!
