Let's walk on the traditional road made of many pottery with friendly guide! During my tour, you can have wonderful experience as bellow. 1 ) Walk in the Japanese traditional town. 2 ) Buy some souvenir in pottery manufacturer workshop. 3 ) Enter into Japanese traditional house. 4 ) Take picture of beautiful landscape. 5 ) Take lunch, coffee-break, sweets or dinner in traditional Restaurant or Cafe which the guide recommend you. 6 ) Know Japanese food, history, customs etc...

There are many pottery stature of beckoning cats on the street. Each cat shows Hope, Love, Peace, Well Health etc...

5.00This was a highlight of my trip! It was great exploring tokoname with someone familiar with the area, history and potters. I learned and saw so much that I wouldn't have been able to without a guide. I recommend to anyone with an interest in pottery, or even for those who don't (like me) but who like authentic, off the beaten path kind of experiences. The guides were passionate,really knowledgeable and open so it was overall a really fun day.

5.00I’m visiting Japan for two weeks spending half my time in Tokyo and half in Kyoto. I’m from NYC and enjoy anything nature and art related. This day trip from Kyoto was the perfect get away. I would highly recommend getting this tour to help guide your experience. We stopped for lunch at the cutest cafe, toured a traditional house, walked around Tokoname, shopped around the different artist stores, learned the history, and stopped at a cafe for a mid afternoon bite and sip. This has been my favorite experience thus far since coming to Japan! If you are into local, art, nature, peaceful experiences - I would do this! Yusuke was the best tour guide and his wife was so sweet! We are lucky that she was able to join us! <3 Also side note, some of the stores take cash and some take card, if you want to get some good ceramics bring both and also depending on how much you want to buy you can bring a back pack too! I walked away with some great pieces that I will be gifting, and of course some for my self.
