Pointe du Hoc
Operation led by the 2nd Rangers battalion and its Colonel James Rudder. Cliffs climbing and fights to destroy 6 long range german guns. Very important mission to secure Omaha & Utah beach.
Omaha Beach
"Bloody Omaha". On June 6 1944, 32 000 Americans had to capture that 4 miles long landing beach extremely defended by the German army.

5.00We were picked up from port promptly, and our driver, Joseph, was very attentove to our needs and we had a smooth ride despite rain and road construction. Our guide, Norman, was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. We were able to make all our scheduled stops without feeling rushed, and our tour was on schedule throughout the day.
Jonathon was a good driver with very good knowledge of the area and WWII

5.00Great historian and good history story teller. His selection of stops was perfect for our one day in the area. The stop at the German cemetery was nice. His restaurant selection was very good also. He will tailor your tour to your desires!

5.00Jonathan gave my husband and I an excellent full day, D-Day Normandy, experience tour! He oriented us with good visual aids during our travel to Sainte-Mere-Eglise where we then saw the village, church and the Airborne Museum (fascinating!!), went on to Omaha Beach and memorial then a delicious French lunch, followed by the Normandy American Cemetery. Jonathan is an amazing and remarkably knowledgable tour guide! We enjoyed his passion for sharing great facts and interesting details about these very important places. It was a pleasure Jonathan. Thank you!

5.00Jonathan was an amazing guide. He picked us up right on time from the port. His communications leading up to our tour were clear and timely. Jonathan is a wealth of knowledge about all things Normandy, WWII and travel. He supplemented his talking points with photos, videos and other interpretative methods to really give us an educational, interesting and interactive tour. His suggestion for lunch near Omaha Beach was amazing. It is the best sole I have had in my life. Off the tourist row so we felt a tad bit more French! He was kind and allowed us to go at our own pace while keeping g us on track to arrive back at our ship well before we needed to depart. In addition, Jonathan is just a really nice and interesting person! We talked travel and sports and personal stuff while driving…best day of our cruise for sure.

5.00This was a great tour and Johnathan is an amazing guide. I’ve traveled quite a bit and never had someone with his level of expertise and education. His immediate recall of even minuscule details is phenomenal. If you’re traveling through and are looking for a tour this is the best.
