From the moment Terry ( Captain... he'll cringe at that :-)) met us to take us to the boat we felt welcomed and then later meeting Megan his sailing crew mate and fantastic host who was just as friendly. It was clear that both loved their job and that we were in good, safe and knowledgeable hands. There were 12 guests but the boat was big enough for all, and was all we expected. Prima looked well maintained, well set out and was clean. Settling off from Airline marina into the beautiful surroundings of the Whitsundays was stunning and immediately what we've looked forward to. Terry explained all he was doing, what he and Megan had planned for us, what the conditions were that would give great experiences with these choices. We set the sail after a while and this was great fun. First stop was Whitehaven Beach which Terry timed to be clear of the day boats and on a falling tide, which showed the expanse of the pure white sands, with us the only ones on it! A lovely lunch first by Megan, who always made us fresh and varied food, plenty and delicious, then a quick trip on the rib boat to the beach. Over the headland via short walk, Whitehaven Beach was all we hoped for, and created postcard-type memories, just magical! We had 3 hours there and got chance to enjoy the beach, swim in the sea (the stinger suits were provided) and visit the lookout which was both perfect in terms of vista and experience! We then set off to the overnight mooring in a quite bay on another island where we had a lovely chicken curry dinner before sitting on deck watching the stars that didn't fail to impress. The milky way was in full view, and a fellow boat with some divers enjoyed a night dive which was interesting to see their lights as they explored the reef we would snorkel the next day. The facilities onboard, toilets, beds were all clean, comfy and well kept which made for a relaxing night gently rocking! Next day, after a light breakfast we put on the stinger suits provided and enjoyed an hour snorkeling the reef. A green turtle made an appearance which everyone managed to see. The timing with low tide gave clear visibility and great reef activity. We then moved to another reef about 20 minutes at an adjacent small island which was a bit more crowded but interesting all the same. The rising tide made it a bit murky but still enough visibility to enjoy the swimming. Megan's tasty chilli tortillas were excellent and enjoyed before a sail back to Airlie with mainsail and jib put out. Chance to chat to Terry and Megan and share their experiences, and also they were really interested in ours too. Arriving back in time for a cold beer, we said our goodbyes and thank yous. The whole experience was superb, fantastic hospitality, great shared knowledge and both Terry and Megan making sure we were all having a fantastic time made this an experience of a lifetime. Can't praise Terry, Megan and Prima enough, and highly recommended. Thank you both, and we can't wait to come back!!

We did a 3 night, 4 day Catamaran sail on the PEARL with Capt Alex and hostess Ella. The PEARL is fantastic, suited us 3 couples and one single perfectly. We saw turtles, reef sharks, whales and snorkelled and visited many islands and beaches. Both Alex and Ella were knowledgeable, versatile, professional with “ can do “ attitudes.Ella turned out magnificent home cooked meals for us. Would encourage anyone, any age to do this adventure.

Amazing trip in the whitsundays. Chris and Megan are amazing hosts. Took us to some incredible snorkeling spots..the view over Whitehaven is out of this world. The kids loved playing on Whitehaven beach...and the evening spent in thus secluded bay watching the sunset was just magic. We travelled as 3 families and had the whole boat to ourselves. Highly recommended if you are after a real sailing adventure.

One of the best things my wife & I have ever done. When visiting the Whitsundays in December for our honeymoon, we booked a 1 night (2 days on the Prima). I was beyond excited, however my wife had a couple of reservations over sleeping and sea-sickness.... Turns out there was absolutely nothing to worry about! We met Thierry and his crew mate Megan down at the Marina and were quickly aboard. The boat itself is larger than I imagined and is clean and pleasant. Whilst we sailed out to Whitehaven Beach for our first stop (~3 hours), Megan prepared dinner. The three hour journey to Whitehaven was gorgeous as you sailed past the various islands and soaked up the sun on deck with a book. When at Whitehaven, Thierry shuttles you over to the Island on a dinghy and you are free to explore the famous beach and hill inlet. At the end of the afternoon, Thierry picked us up and returned us to the boat before journeying to where we would stay the night. You are able to bring your own drinks onboard, so would recommend buying alcohol the night before (as nowhere is open when the boat departs). The evening itself was perfect, sat on the deck after a long day in the sun with a cold beer and a fantastic dinner cooked by Megan. Sleeping itself was absolutely fine and nothing for my wife to worry about. We opted for single beds (which actually gave more total room than a double). My wife & I slept in the main area of the boat and had a fantastic nights sleep, large in thanks to the great fans and a day in the sun. When awake, we were on the move to the first of two snorkeling spots, which was an absolute blast. After 2/3 hours of snorkeling, we embarked on the journey back to Airlie and arrived by about 3/4pm. Truly one of the best things we have ever done and a perfect way to visit the Whitsundays. From the food, to the comfort, to the crew mates and fellow guests. It was truly perfect and something I would recommend to anyone visiting the Whitsundays.

The MOST wonderful trip. Thierry and Megan were amazing. We loved everything about this trip- the boat, the crew, the snorkelling, the beaches and the food. We would recommend this trip to everyone. Thank you so much for being so fantastic Thierry and Megan and answering all our questions. This was a perfect trip for a family with teenagers and a real highlight of our time in Oz. Can’t recommend this trip more!!! We are all still talking about it now.

We had a great experience on our 2-day, 1-night boat trip! The crew was knowledgeable and even gave us some interesting insights into coral life, which added a nice educational touch. They knew some excellent snorkeling spots—thanks to them, we saw a manta ray and swam with sea turtles, which was a real highlight. The sailing was smooth and enjoyable, and our fellow boat mates were also great people, which made the experience even more fun. The only downside was that the boat felt a bit crowded with 14 people on board, but overall, it was a memorable and well-organized trip.

"We regret to inform you that your scheduled sailing tour, which was set to depart on 29/06/2025, has unfortunately been cancelled. The decision to cancel the tour was not taken lightly, but it was necessary as the vessel did not meet the required minimum numbers to proceed with the trip. We understand the inconvenience this may cause you, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment or disruption to your plans. Our aim is to provide exceptional experiences to all our guests, and unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control have led to this cancellation." Booking this? Beware! I would like to say that I actually went on This trip. Booked 7 months in advance. We Called 2 days before to confirm as required, and yup, all good, was going ahead as planned. Hired a car, booked accommodation, drove 7 hours. I get an email 50km from airlie beach that the trip is cancelled. Absolutely disappointed, angry and sad. Worst birthday ever!! We flew half way round the world to be on this boat, on this day to have it cancelled on us. Don't be fooled by all the " we want to give you the beat experience", it's all bulls*** Car, trip down and stays cost us around 400€ consider tearing up the money instead, is definitely not to be recommended. Definitely not Prima, unreliable and not worth any effort in advance planning. Happy to be contacted for anyone considering this boat for more info. There are much better, cheaper and more reliable options. Derek McArthur
