We’ll start our day with a 2-hour guided exploration of Lucerne’s picturesque Old Town, discovering its medieval architecture, iconic landmarks like the Chapel Bridge and the Jesuit Church, and learning fascinating local stories. Afterward, you’ll enjoy 1 hour of free time to wander at your own pace — perfect for lunch, shopping, or capturing memorable photos along the lakeside.
Lucerne
In the early afternoon, we’ll embark on the Scenic Panoramic train from Lucerne to Interlaken. This relaxing 2-hour journey offers breathtaking views of Swiss nature—sparkling lakes, rolling meadows, and majestic alpine landscapes—making it one of the most beautiful train rides in the country.

5.00During my solo trip, I chose a second experience with Switzerland Viva Tours, and it also exceeded my expectations. We did a city tour in Lucerne, where our guide Juliana shared fascinating stories about the history and culture. Then we took the panoramic train and had lunch along the way. I felt like I was looking at postcards because the scenery was breathtaking—alpine villages and more than five lakes along the train tracks. We finished in Interlaken, where we had some time to buy souvenirs. A 5-star tour!

5.00Juliana was an amazing guide. She provided excellent information and did a great job making sure my elderly mother had places to sit. The train to Interlaken was amazing, the weather was perfect and Juliana made sure we knew where to sit to have the best views. The chocolate samples were a nice treat!

5.00I had been looking forward to this tour for a long time, and it truly exceeded my expectations! We started with a two-hour city tour in Lucerne, where our guide shared fascinating insights about the history, hidden gems, and local culture without overwhelming us with too much information. After the tour, we boarded the panoramic train. The views were incredible, and we enjoyed lunch on board while taking in the beautiful scenery. We then arrived in Interlaken, where we spent about an hour walking around, watching the paragliders, and enjoying some free time to buy souvenirs. The timing was perfect, and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

5.00We've started with Lucerne exploration and even had a nice chocolate stop in a very traditional shop - I would say even historical. Followed with a nice 2 hour panoramic train ride towards Interlaken. At the beginning it was a bit foggy but after 20 min the landscape changed completely, this change was fantastic. Our guide took care of everything tickets, easy change of transportation and giving us interesting information but without overloading us. We had a very nice day!!

5.00Our tour was in a stormy day so we had quite limited visibility but not something you can control. We saw quite an amount of snow and is amazing how the engineers developed the railway through rocky mountains and quite hilly places, this is why this is not just a normal train but also a Cogwheel in some parts. Our guide was very knowledgeable about history and culture, it was great to have him.

5.00We couldn't leave Switzerland without experiencing it's majestic trains and this tour definitely had it all. We started with a easy Lucerne Old Town tour which is very charming and has some impressive paintings and buildings. Panoramic train ride was about 2 hours and you can have some food, snacks in the train restaurant. The scenery was beautiful and we were lucky to have a very sunny and clear day. Our guide took photos, told stories and made the transitions very smooth during the day, many thanks to Juliana. Overall a fantastic tour.
