What To Expect
Te Anau
Your tour starts in stunning idyllic town of Te Anau, after maybe meeting some of the local animals or wildlife we continue along the lake. Stopping at Te Anau Downs the starting point for the Milford Track you will be able to hear the stories and admire the views.
Eglinton Valley
Leaving Te Anau and entering Fiordland National Park we stop in Eglinton Valley. With views worthy of Lord of the Rings this valley follows the path of an ancient glacier through Fiordland, one of the first major attractions as you enter the park. It really sets the scene for a journey that only get more impressive the deeper you get.

5.00Great experience on Milford Sound. We were lucky enough to have the tour during a rain storm and witnessed all of the waterfalls. Our guide Steve was a wealth of local and historical knowledge and overall a very fun and great guy to spend the day with. We highly recommend doing this tour and don’t let the rain scare you away. 5.00I went on this tour alone and was a little nervous as this was my first time travelling alone. Steve was an incredible guide, and made the experience wonderful for everyone! He had so much knowledge on such a variety of topics that he was able to connect with everyone by answering their questions. Whether it was about mythology, history, or wildlife, he answered all the questions and was able to connect by catering to everyone's interests. The amount of care he put into accommodating everyone's interests and making additional stops made for an amazing experience. I am so grateful to have had Steve as a tour guide and would recommend him to anyone visiting, whether as a solo traveler or with others! I learned so much more about the country than I thought I would!

5.00It was very wet but we got to see so many amazing waterfalls on our cruise. Met some lovely people in our small group tour. On our way back to Te Anau the rain eased and the cloud lifted to give us the gift of stunning scenery. Had a great day in spite of the wet start.

5.00Milford Sound was totally awesome. Scenery is stunning. Got to see Seals, & Dolphins. Bonus. Travelled with Cheeky Kiwi tours. Steve our driver, went above & beyond through the day, with information & photo stops. Throughly enjoyable day

5.00An excellent day out. Our pick up was 7:30, we were the last to be collected, so we were ahead of all the coaches, which meant we were not fighting the crowds at all the usual stops. Milford Road is beautiful with lots of photographic opportunities. The cruise was a small boat, with plenty of space to sit and/or move around. An excellent driver/guide who had all sorts of facts to share.

5.00Steve was literally the perfect guide. We appreciated his knowledge, personality, and passion. The size was great. About 14 in the van and 50 on the boat. Lunch good too. The trip in general is totally necessary if you're in south island as it's stunning. Definitely recommend
