Escape The City is a connected treasure hunt, a kind of outdoor escape game – or Live City Game – which lets you explore your city in a fun way and as a team!

What is the principle?

Once your team is formed, a mission will be offered to you by a digital companion directly accessible from your smartphone. You will then have to investigate in search of clues, solve original puzzles and interact not only with your guide but also with your teammates.

What To Expect

Help the Viking leader, Ragnar Lodbrok, find Odin's relic before Moriarty, Sherlock's enemy, takes hold of it. Discover the history of these Vikings who came to invade the city of Nantes in the 9th century, get to know their gods and decipher their runic alphabet. The game starts when you start the chat with the chatbot. After giving him your access code, he will give you the details of your mission. You can then go on an adventure and walk the streets in search of clues. Observe your surroundings, solve puzzles, and interact with your digital companion (as well as your teammates) to complete your quest. The necessary equipment : - A charged smartphone with internet access (1 / team mandatory - 1 / player recommended) - A notebook and pencil (1 / team)

the evidence was not in line with reality clue 1: it was necessary to find a mosaic (several ceramic tiles assembled for a representation ) Representative of a snake and in fact it is a ceramic (one piece!!) traces of glue from Waldo's work.... not seen!! etc... So we stopped before the end because too complicated or maybe not the spirit escape game but too bad for us

Very nice activity. The puzzles are interesting and fortunately the clues allow us to move steadily forward. On the other hand it is enough to pay for only one player....we did not manage to set up the second player...

Very nice. An original way to rediscover Nantes. Too bad all participants have to be on the phone all along. Maybe just half the team would be enough.

Very good experience and good way to discover Nantes! The riddles are of high quality with a downside for the riddle of the basilica which is difficult to decipher (we did not find the indications on the spot). To do absolutely if you want to discover the center of Nantes in 1h30!

A first discovery of Nantes which, in addition to showing us around emblematic places, makes us look and observe details of the city that many Nantes must certainly not know.
