Whale watching will be added to the popular Kerama snorkeling tour from January 12th to the end of March. *Whales may not be sighted depending on the weather and sea conditions. A rice cake pounding event will also be held on January 1st!

Anyone in good health can participate. However, past or present asthma, wheezing, choking sensation, chronic sinusitis, epilepsy, tuberculosis, other long-term lung disease, brain disease, spinal cord disease, nervous system pneumothorax, fainting, seizure, loss of consciousness, diabetes, chest surgery, heart disease, chronic bronchitis, persistent chest disease, hypertension, ear surgery, air travel ear baropathy, chronic ear disease or inflammation, other disease or surgery within the past month *Using medications (prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, excluding contraceptives), pregnancy, 8 If you drink alcohol within the hour, we may refuse to participate.
Please note that we cannot provide refunds even if you do not pass the health check on the day and are unable to participate in the tour.

What To Expect
★Whale watching is also available for a limited time from January 12th to March. *Please note that this activity may not be available depending on the weather and sea conditions. *Please note that sea turtles may not be sighted. Experience the beautiful underwater world of the Kerama Islands on a cruise departing from Naha. Enjoy snorkeling at two or three spots with an instructor and observe colorful creatures. Snorkeling equipment is provided, so you can fully enjoy the colorful underwater world. Enjoy the beautiful underwater world of Tokashiki Island, Zamami Island, Kuroshima Island, and Maejima Island while sipping tea on the comfortable boat. All staff are instructors and trained in first aid. For safety, we ask that you wear a wetsuit or life jacket. Floatation rings are also provided. Enjoy the refreshing Kerama blue shaved ice while cruising comfortably on a large boat. (August and September) The water temperature in winter is approximately 22°C, and the outside temperature is approximately 20°C. If it's cold, we provide 3mm hooded vests and coats. We also hold events like mochi pounding during the New Year, so please come and join us!

5.00I went in March so the water was still a bit fresh/cold. The fish were beautiful. The coral reefs were massive. It was really good value for the experience. Do keep in mind if you are snorkeling you use a lot of time waiting for the scuba drivers to complete their dive. They were able to accommodate a hotel pick up and return drop off which made this easy. I see some bad reviews online that scared me a bit. I am happy with my experience. If you are a germaphobe I would skip this experience.

5.00You have 3 stops to get in and snorkel around the islands with each being about 30 minutes. It takes about an hour or so to get to the islands from Naha. Christina was a great instructor and guide. Overall, snorkeling was very exciting and had a good time aboard the boat.

1.00The locations visited on this tour are amazing but the organization and equipment left to be desired. The boat we were on was incredibly loud and smelled of gasoline and exhaust fumes. The scuba diving tanks are rusted, most of the fins are covered in algae. After snorkeling the crew spotted a whale and at first we were excited to get to see one of these majestic animals. However we felt the crew drove the boat much too close to the animal, especially considering the very loud outboard engines. The warm showers on board are very nice, especially in winter time. But it is still recommended to bring enough warm clothing to warm up between and after the various swims/dives. When booking we had selected pick up from the cruise terminal so we were surprised to see that the pick up was cancelled just days before the trip. After much complaining the captain did drop us off at the agreed point after the trip.

5.00This day trip around the Big Island was hands down one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized, and we got to see so much of the island in just one day. The scenery was breathtaking, the stops were thoughtfully chosen, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the island. We learned so much while still having plenty of time to enjoy and take it all in. I couldn’t recommend this experience more—worth every penny!

5.00We had an excellent time snorkelling on this trip. We went on the 4th of January. I think we were lucky with the weather and the water did not feel very cold with the wetsuits they provided. It took the boat roughly one hour to get to the islands from Naha. We stopped to snorkel in three different places which gave some good variety. We saw lots of different fish and a couple of sea turtles, even without the sea turtles there was loads of creatures to see. We brought our own lunch and there was somewhere to store this offered. I have read reviews saying the staff were not friendly. They weren’t very friendly but they also weren’t unfriendly. They were perfectly pleasant and did their jobs well. I didn’t find the fact there were scuba divers and snorkellers on the same trip off-putting. The trip stuck exactly to time and we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was great.

5.00It was truly beautiful! The view was incredibly amazing and we saw so many rare fish! The GoPro photos are perfect!, it was totally worth it, the quality of the pictures and videos is great! The Guides are all really nice and friendly!!!
