Natural Planetarium! Subtropical & Starry Sky Jungle Night Tour This is the plan to go out to Ishigaki Island at night to look for subtropical creatures and starry sky. Important Information (Please Read Carefully) Punctuality & Contact: Please arrive on time. If you are late without notice, your booking will be canceled and a fee will apply. If delayed, contact us in advance. Pre-Tour Confirmation: We will confirm the meeting time and place by the day before. Provide a contactable phone number or email in Japan. If you don’t hear from us by 6:00 PM the day before, contact us via your ticket. Participation Requirements: Ages 3–65 only. For safety reasons, the following cannot join: Pregnant guests Children 0–2 Those with medical conditions Weather & Tour Operation: Tours run in light rain. If unsafe, we may cancel. Preparation: Use the restroom beforehand (none on-site). Participation under the influence of alcohol is not allowed. Timing: Meeting/return times vary with season and conditions. Language: Tours are in Japanese or English. Depending on reservations, it may be Japanese only.

5.00It was so nice to go to Ishigaki Island to make special memories. Without this tour, I would never know how to experience the forest in a private place. In the deep woods, it feels no more dangerous than you think, and there are few bugs, so many people are scared. I think it would be okay. I have a little tracking, but I went tired, but it was hard and I forgot everything, the guide teacher was really kind and the language was good and everything was easy! Coming again.

5.00Rain in the morning phase. The forecast was that it would be cloudy and sometimes sunny in the afternoon, but I thought it would be winter so I applied on the day. I'm really glad I went as a result. During the bus ride to and from Ishigaki, they also talk about Ishigaki Island and many recommended restaurants. I was accompanied by a child of elementary school age, but I proceeded safely with everyone's care. It was fun to go through the jungle with the whole group shouting in the dark, and I found a lot of unusual bugs and hermit crabs, Mr. Miliband (and fireflies!) Kids were overjoyed to see the stars for the first time in their lives at the starry sky spot they arrived. It was a fun tour that made me want to go back. Now I want to see the summer night sky and the Ryukyu owl!

5.00This is my second time with this lovely tour guide Akari. She was funny and experienced. She had a smile on her face all the time and answered all our questions with her knowledge. From the two tours with her, I can see that she knew where to find the things we wanted to see and how to show us. It was raining that evening and apparently too cloudy for stargazing, but we were too busy seeing other things anyway. We saw at least four different kinds of crabs, a snake, a spider, coconut crabs, a frog, and even two fireflies!

4.00The tour was Ok. We saw everything that was promised. Only concern is that the total walking distance that we went through the forest was super short, just a few hundred meters. I wish it was longer so we could see more wildlife.

5.00Such a great experience for my last night in Ishigaki. The team is super friendly, they do everything to show you the animals you want to see and explain everything about constellation ! I did 2 different tours with Yuki, he’s definitely the best, he bring a great energy, talk with everyone and he’s super invested in making sure you’re having a great time.

5.00We did a jungle night tour with a guide in a group of nine. Yuha and her very energetic guide were in charge this time! We gathered at the main entrance of the remote island terminal at Ishigaki Port and drove for about 20 minutes to the pitch-black jungle without street lights. Inside the train, the guide told us about Ishigaki Island, about living things, about remote islands, and about fun things we had never known before. On the Jungle Night Tour, we met lots of creatures including Habu, palm crabs, purple crabs and more! I thought Yuha, the guide, really likes living things!! He was like a doctor. Thank you so much for the fun memories!!
