So glad we did this! Peter, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and patient. He truly knows the hidden stories — like the actual landing craft he showed us. These were made from PLYWOOD, people!! We knew the basic outline of D-Day but he filled in with some GREAT stories about the men who fought there. This is the stuff that we will always remember. Topped it all off with Taps at the American Cemetery, which brought tears to our eyes! Thank you Peter! It’s a day we will always remember.

This is the second time I have called Noresta to discover the landing beaches and it is always a great pleasure and head full of beautiful memories that I come back from these days. I have total confidence in them, both on the comfort of the vehicle and the driving as well as on the quality of the comments. This time it was with family that we had an incredible time, Norman was able to adapt his speech to all the generations present. A big Bravo and a big thank you!

The Norman guide is great and very attentive. The vehicle is very good and the ride is smooth and pleasant. The chosen restaurant (the Frigate) has a very good Price quality ratio.

We had a great day with Norman. He was thorough and shared meaningful stories and entertaining too. He really laid out the details of history and why things unfolded the way they did. He gave us options and we were able to pivot based on our interests. Also was nice to be in his super comfortable van.

We had an amazing tour with Norman. His obvious love of the history of the area made for wonderful storytelling. He was very knowledgeable and had helpful visual aids to help us “see” what D-Day was like. He carefully watched the weather and chose wisely for us to get the most out of our experience. Norman was also a great listener and was able to modify our route to fit our group’s specific interests. Normandy with Norman was truly a fantastic experience.
An emotional visit. Everyone should put this on their bucket list.

My wife and I wish to thank our guide, Peter Holland, for providing an outstanding tour of D-Day. Our travel of 7 1/2 hours educated us of both the American and British, and Canadian forces. Peter was highly educated in all aspects of D- Day. Peter was personable, and warm to my wife and answered all our questions. We have been on other tours in Europe, but none could compare to this experience. That being said, if traveling to Normandy, we highly recommend you choose Peter from Noresta.
