This 10-acre group of small, tree-covered islands is connected by footbridges and surrounded by peaceful walking trails and scenic waterways. A popular spot for birdwatching and picnicking, it offers a quiet escape from the crowds. In winter, it transforms into a magical display during the Winter Festival of Lights. Located off the Niagara Parkway, Dufferin Islands is a hidden gem perfect for nature lovers.

Journey Behind the Falls

Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction in Niagara Falls, Ontario, offering a unique perspective of the Horseshoe Falls. Visitors descend 125 feet via an elevator to explore tunnels behind the waterfall, leading to observation portals where they can witness the powerful rush of water from behind. The experience also includes an outdoor viewing platform at the base of the falls, providing an up-close encounter with the roaring cascade. During peak flow, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunder down per second. Ponchos are provided, as visitors may get wet from the mist.

Our family had an absolutely exceptional private tour of Niagara Falls with our guide, Chris. From start to finish, he made the experience unforgettable! Chris was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geology, and hidden stories of Niagara, but he was also so personable and engaging, it felt like exploring with a friend who truly loves what he does. We got to see every stunning view of the Falls, from iconic overlooks to lesser-known vantage points that most tourists miss. Chris made sure we had plenty of time to take amazing photos at each stop and shared fascinating details about the landmarks and surrounding area. To top it off, we ended the day with a visit to a maple syrup tasting shop, which was such a fun and delicious way to wrap up the experience. Highly recommend this private tour and especially Chris!

What an incredible day! This small-group Niagara Falls tour was super organized and hit all the best spots — the boat cruise, Journey Behind the Falls, and the Skylon Tower were all unforgettable. Our guide kept things fun and easygoing while sharing tons of cool facts about the area. I really appreciated not having to worry about tickets or parking — everything was taken care of. The maple syrup tasting at the end was such a nice local touch. Totally worth it and would recommend to anyone visiting the Falls!

Absolutely amazing experience! My small group tour of Niagara Falls was the perfect way to see everything without feeling rushed or crowded. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, and I got to skip a lot of lines which was awesome. The Skylon Tower view was breathtaking, and the boat cruise brought us right up close to the Falls — unforgettable! The maple syrup tasting at the end was such a sweet touch (literally). Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Niagara!

If you're looking for an amazing tour of Niagara Falls, look no further than this one! We had an unforgettable experience seeing the Falls from multiple vantage points, each one more breathtaking than the last. What really made the tour stand out, though, was our guide, Chris. He was easily one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had in all our travels. Incredibly knowledgeable about the area, full of fascinating facts, and he managed to make the entire day both informative and a lot of fun. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Highly recommend this tour—you won’t be disappointed!
