Carl was our driver and Cynthia was our tour guide. The tour made it easy to take in many areas of interest. Only here for a couple of days so we were happy to do this tour and cover a lot of things we wanted to see and learn about. Cynthia was great and very knowledgeable about the area and history. I enjoyed the added 9th Ward tour to see how it is recovering since Katrina. Carl did a great job navigating local traffic! Would definitely recommend especially if you want to cover a lot of area quickly.

I've been to NO multiple times and have never done a tour. This one was very interesting. Cynthia was an excellent guide. Upon request she recommended Muriels for dinner and it did not disappoint.

We spent a week in NOLA and took the New Orleans Sightseeing City Tour on our first day. It was about a 2.5 hour small bus tour that was helpful, informative, and hit the highlights of the city. The guide and driver (Cynthia? and Carl) were excellent and had interesting stories to share about the culture and events of the city. We were able to get off for a quick stop at the City Park and cemetery #3. I highly recommend this tour. It will help you plan your outings for your stay.

Cynthia made this city tour so much fun with her easygoing personality, love of the city and knowledge of the history surrounding the neighborhoods! When we arrived at the meeting point, we weren't sure we were in the right place, and she called out to us and asked if we were joining the tour. She made us feel comfortable right away. We chose to wait for her specific tour which started after the first tour bus departed. The bus was very clean, roomy and cool, and the driver, Aaran, was so experienced, calm and cool driving through the crowded, narrow streets of the French Quarter that he made even me, a normally very nervous passenger, feel at ease which made it easy to enjoy the ride. I especially liked hearing about the neighborhoods that were affected by Hurricane Katrina as we drove through the 9th Ward, and about the Ellis Marsalis Center in Musician's Village dedicated to providing children music lessons. My favorite part of the tour was walking around the cemetery and seeing the different crypts and hearing about the care given to maintain them, and listening to the stories of family drama regarding who was ultimately allowed to be buried with the owner of the crypt! Outside the cemetery, a beautiful local vendor was selling the most delicious individually wrapped pralines, and I only wish I had bought more of them. When we got to City Park, there was a Cafe Du Monde, with a very short line as compared to the line at the Cafe Du Monde in Jackson Square. We had a chance to take a much appreciated bathroom break at the Cafe. I also enjoyed passing by some of Ann Rice's and other celebs' properties in Uptown and learning about Nicolas Cage and Beyonce's ties to it. It was a fabulous tour that left me yearning to learn even more about New Orleans and all of her charms! I highly recommend this tour with Cynthia and Aaran. You will be pleased!

The tour was very interesting. DJ, our tour guide, knew a lot about the area. We drove through the 9th ward and he explained about how Katrina devastated the area 20 years ago. You could see many empty lots where families had not been able to rebuild. DJ had a lot of opinions about where to eat and what to do. We enjoyed the tour and felt that it was worth the money.
