My Wife and I tried tour on first day. Our guide Nate was amazing, and the food was so good. Great variety of things and he was very knowledgeable. We got to try a few staples of NO to begin our stay.

Nate was so knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. I loved that we got the history and facts about the area and not just the food. And the food... everything was amazing! And we were definitely full after. We did the 10:30 and skipped breakfast and I'm glad we did. I hit my 10,000 steps shortly after the tour, so its a bit of walking but not crazy and you get breaks for the eating. It was a great way to try the signature dishes from great places.

Sorry, but the foods on the tour were quite the let down. 1 gumbo, 2 pralines and 2 fried small bites, really? I would have rather spent more money to experience more seafood, po'boys and the beignets, and learned about the history of those. The tour guide was great with her recommendations so three stars for that.

The concept of the tour is great. We got to try 6 different types of foods. But as a fatboy, the portions of what they give is not too much. On top of that, most of the foods we tried were not great. If you want to try a lot of variety and can afford this tour, definitely worth it. But if you’re on a budget, definitely not worth it.

This was a fabulous experience and Nate was an incredible guide. We went during Mardi Gras and it was so much fun. I tried foods I never would’ve thought to order myself, like boudin and calas. We had muffaletta, a shrimp po boy, beignets, gumbo, a tasty Bloody Mary. We ended the day by getting pralines that changed my life and how I move in the world. I am so glad we did this and would recommend this experience to anyone visiting New Orleans.
