Meet at Glacier Guides & Montana Raft at 9:30am to meet your guide and go over a brief orientation. Once in Glacier, you'll get to explore Glacier's natural wonders on a guided adventure! Start with a 1-mile round trip walk through Lake McDonald Valley, admiring its glaciated beauty and resident wildlife. Then, venture to the North Fork Valley with scenic stops en route. Take another 1-mile round trip walk along the Wild and Scenic North Fork of the Flathead River, learning about the environment and its history.
This engaging nature walk is easy, offering captivating insights. After the walk, return to the Glacier Guides and Montana Raft office in the early afternoon, benefiting from your knowledgeable guide's expertise. Typically, the tour concludes around 1:30 PM.

5.00As a solo traveler visiting Glacier National Park for the first time, the Nature Walk (one activity) and Scenic Float (another activity) were the perfect way to begin my trip and start to learn about GNP and the West Glacier area. Lucas led us to our first glimpse of Lake McDonald and then guided us through two easy trails, educating us about the terrain and wildlife along the way. The Scenic Float was led by Jesse who paddled our raft down the Middle Fork of the Flathead River for about 7 miles. It was incredibly peaceful and almost meditative. The staff were all great! I'd highly recommend Glacier Guides and Montana Raft and would book with them again in the future.

5.00Lillian was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly guide. The walk was very inter and fun! My favorite thing she showed us was the minuscule lichen cups, like champagne flutes for fairies!
