  Omy, my husband and I had a truly wonderful day traveling to not-touristy places, seeing animals, learning about plants, walking along the ocean, drinking champagne, etc etc etc. Matt is warm, funny, and knowledgeable. Five stars!

  This tour was truly exceptional from start to finish, and Matt is an outstanding guide in every sense of the word. From the moment we met him, we felt genuinely welcomed and *special* not like just another booking on a schedule, but like family. Matt’s personal touches made the day unforgettable. The champagne and chocolates were such a thoughtful surprise and added a touch of luxury that we never expected. His warmth, humor, and easygoing personality gave us 'tons of laughs' throughout the day, making the experience feel relaxed, fun, and incredibly personal. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the kind that stop you in your tracks, and Matt knew exactly where to go and when to be there. Every stop felt perfectly chosen and flawlessly executed. The most unforgettable moments were with the wildlife, especially the koala. Being able to experience them up close in such a respectful and meaningful way was something we will treasure forever. This wasn’t just a tour, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with joy, beauty, and genuine connection personally tailored to our interests. One of the things that truly set this tour apart was Matt’s local knowledge. He took us to lesser-known spots we never would have found on our own, places that felt untouched, authentic, and incredibly special. These hidden gems, away from the crowds, gave us a deeper connection to the area and made us feel like we were seeing the country through the eyes of a local, not a tourist. It’s clear this is something only someone who truly knows and loves the region could offer. We cannot recommend Matt highly enough.   We spent an incredible and truly enriching day with Matt. Originally from Sydney, Matt knows his region inside and out. He shared his personal journey with us—he’s lived many very different chapters in life, and today he takes immense pleasure in sharing his culture, his land, and his enthusiasm. We wanted a day focused on nature and the animals we particularly love. We started by entering the forest, where Matt showed an impressive knowledge of every tree and shrub, explaining how past civilizations lived in harmony with this environment. He even introduced us to his possum, who lives in a tree and whom Matt regularly feeds! With temperatures reaching 35°C, spotting animals in the wild was challenging, so Matt adapted perfectly and took us to a reserve where we were able to admire a wide variety of species together: koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, emus, countless birds, and even snakes. We also discovered absolutely stunning landscapes and breathtaking viewpoints. It truly felt like a day outside of time, far away from mass tourism. Matt is a fascinating guide who doesn’t shy away from speaking honestly about his country’s history. We even enjoyed a gin tasting and sampled a gin infused with native crushed pearls. On top of everything else, Matt is an excellent photographer. He took amazing photos throughout the day and sent us a full photo album that same evening, thanking us for the time spent together. Matt is genuinely a special and unique person. We formed an instant friendly connection and feel incredibly lucky to have met him. We sincerely hope to see him again very soon!

  We had the most spectacular day ever with Matt!! We travel the world extensively, and Matt literally gave us the best experience we’ve ever had on a tour! We will most definitely be back again, and tell EVERYONE they need to book this tour!!! There is nothing worse than being herded like cattle on a tour, hurry to use the restroom, hurry to buy souvenirs… rush rush rush because they’ll leave without you… there was NONE of that with Matt!! This was VIP treatment all the way!! We had the most incredible experience with koalas, kangaroos, and all the animals you expect in an Australian tour. I definitely recommend listening to Matt if you want to see the animals!! He knows the best places to go!! We had the most incredible Australian experience in the bush, with the animals, on the beaches and at the parks…. There is no possible way Matt could have made our day any better!!! It was absolutely perfect!! We got to do SO many incredible things that we will never forget!!

  Matt was an outstanding tour guide. The trip was perfect. We wanted a private, more personal tour since it was my self, my hubby, and my mom. This was my mom's bucket list trip. She is in her 70's, and I , myself, use a cane. Matt was prompt, personable, and informative. We went to several locations that were outside the normal "tourist traps". We learned about the different plants and trees, and even found out how to make soap in the bush. We got up close, personal, and hands on with some koalas & kangaroos. Had lunch at a local spot, and a local beach. Even had a surprise of a colony of flying fox bats! The trip was amazing, and Matt made us feel like old friends. I was also able to buy an authentic Aboriginal eucalyptus boomerang for my dad (unable to go due to last minute hip issue needing a replacement).   This tour was the best tour our family has ever been on. Our tour guide Sam, was like a long time friend that we hadn’t seen in forever but could catch up like no time had passed. The entire day was so comfortable and such an epic, non stop adventure. Sam makes sure you are so very well taken care of. Every second is filled with amazing animals, beautiful nature and even some termite snacking if you’re lucky! Sam’s expertise and knowledge is unmatched. Our car ride from place to place was just as engaging as any of the activities throughout the day. Sam is that tour guide that gives you a warm welcome, lots of laughs and so much great information and endless sights and critter experiences. Sam is that tour guide you have a hard time parting with. We will never forget our day with Sam in Sydney! Thank you for an epic adventure that we will always hold dear to our hearts!

  My mom, boyfriend, and I went on a tour with Matt and it was phenomenal!! The sites, animals, food, and photos made my whole Australia trip. Matt was so fun to spend the day with and super welcoming. We got to ask him any questions we had and he would answer with no judgement. Matt is super bubbly and a bundle of joy to have as a tour guide. I could not have asked for a better person to bring us around!!

  My wife and I spent a day with Matt on his Nature & Wildlife Private Tour and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From the outset, he was personable, knowledgeable, and—most importantly—attentive to what we wanted from the day. He took us well beyond the standard tourist circuit to places we never would have found on our own. We spent unhurried time feeding kangaroos and their joeys, enjoyed a quiet, close encounter with koalas, and visited a private backyard where hundreds of bats hung from the trees—an unforgettable experience that simply wouldn’t happen on a large group tour. When a planned hike proved to be more than my wife was up for, Matt adjusted immediately and seamlessly, substituting other stops that were just as engaging without missing a beat. Lunch was at a beautiful, local beachfront spot, perfectly chosen. Matt strikes an ideal balance between sharing insightful history and stories and knowing when to step back and let the scenery speak for itself.   Matt, Matt, Matt He was our guide who made this adventure sooooo memorable. He customized our day to our abilities and interests. He was candid and down to earth. Private tours are more pricey BUT you get SO MUCH MORE. You go at your own pace. We had 1 full day to tour around Sydney and I believe we got the best sights, information, culture, and then some. Just pay the money and do it Allison Weeks
