A great day taking in the sites of Mt Fuji and Hakone. Our guide for the day kept everyone amused and informed during the day and on the bus legs. Lunch was warm and filling, accompanied by a Drum show while we ate. Overall a great day and would recommend for anyone wanting to get out of Tokyo to Mt Fuji and surrounds.

It rained most of the day, and no visibility of Fuji. Host TK was helpful and informative most of the ride.

Nao (who went to Michigan) was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. Always smiling positive and helpful. Disappointed that snow kept us from going to the fifth station of Fuji. He made that not so bad ! We highly recommend

My experience with this tour was, unfortunately, a major disappointment—a complete waste of time and money. I genuinely felt that the service delivered did not match what was promised. Despite clearly unfavorable weather conditions, the tour was not canceled, which resulted in spending most of the day sitting on the bus with very little actual sightseeing. The visit to Mount Fuji was especially frustrating: we were dropped off on the roadside with no visibility at all, and no alternative plan was offered. The itinerary felt irrelevant and poorly planned. We were taken to a shopping stop that added no value, the included lunch was bland, and the activities were rushed, lacking meaningful explanations or cultural context. The actual time spent experiencing the destinations was minimal, while the time on the bus was excessive. I understand that the weather cannot be controlled, but transparency, alternatives, or a responsible cancellation are absolutely possible—none of which were provided. In other destinations, I’ve experienced far more professional handling of similar situations. In summary, this tour turned out to be frustrating, disappointing, and, in my opinion, a poor investment. I would not recommend it under the conditions in which it was operated. I understand that when I booked this tour, it was stated that it would not be canceled even in poor weather conditions. However, the least that could be done is to look for other options or alternatives. As it was, the experience felt more like a bus crossing than an actual tour. Due to this experience, I decided to cancel my remaining two tours in Kyoto. I no longer want, nor do I feel comfortable, taking any bus tours through Viator unless changes are made when a tour fails to deliver what was scheduled.

Fun experience with lots to see and learn along the way. The weather was not the best to see Mount Fuji, but we did get a glimpse of it when the sun decided to peak out. Our tour guide was exceptional!!!

Beautiful experience, tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and happy to teach us about Japan. It was great to get such a good insight from someone who knows the area inside and out.

Me and my family had a wonderful time on this day trip with our tour guide Shinsuke! There was a good variety of activities and well paced so you don’t get bored. The drive up to Mt Fuji is so beautiful and the melon pan at the station is so yummy! The cruise was so peaceful and the view at the top of the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway was breathtaking! The bus ride was very comfortable. We had a great time!

A fantastic tour enjoying Mt Fuji from different areas and parts of the Halcone locality. We were very lucky with the weather which of course plays a huge part of the day, it was a clear sunny beautiful day. Our favourite part was the Ropeway/cable car overlooking Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji. Sky was an excellent tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. ensuring everyone was where they should be and at what time. We would highly recommend the tour.
