Tyler does well with keeping the tour rolling while also catering to the groups needs and questions. He is quite knowledgeable about the city and local area.

Third ward places with 5 visits. Our guide, Alex, waa great. This review is aimed at location and serving style. One stop is a cheese store which has free samples regardless of tour. Purchase was one bag of fresh cheese curds shared with 10 people. Next stop is German food (which was great) though serving is two platters for participants to share rather than individual servings. With 10 adults, its awkard of how much to take. Four small bread slices. Should be at least one per person. Likely how the restaurant does it though tours are different than people who know each other. Next stop is public market which is crazy busy on Saturdays. We could stroll the market while Alex ordered fried fish and cheese curds but By the time food was distributed from to go boxes, it was lukewarm and soggy. Took awhile for everyone to return and find seating for 10. Suggest avoiding MPM on weekends. Same serving style with sharing 6 pieces of fish among 10 people. Food leftover though likely because of reasons stated. Next stop at Blue bat which was great and portions were for two. Much easier to share with the person you're with. Last stop was a small cup of hot chocolate. We love food tours though won't choose this company again. We are usually stuffed after, not the case here . No reflection on the guide or restaurants themselves.

The food at the first 4 stops was good and tied into both the history and changing demographics of the city. Cool. Unfortunately, the information on the tour was very light. Tour guide was not a local and only gave a few minutes information at each stop. Interesting, but very minimal. We had a nice walk along the river front, but got zero information about it. Last stop was disappointing. Tour pictures showed cake and/or ice cream. We got hot chocolate from a local coffee shop. Yes, it was a bit chilly (in the high 30s), but you can get hot chocolate ANYWHERE and it wasn't that special. Very disappointing.

My girlfriend and I found ourselves in the fine city of milwaukee during the week of Thanksgiving '25. I was delighted to see that secret food tours was operating in the city. Having had two previous tours with this company in Portland and Charleston I very much wanted to see what milwaukee had to offer. On a very cold and snowy day is when our tour progressed. Taylor was our guide. We were taken to four different locations, all delicious however I believe our favorite was the braut platter at a German beers garden was our favorite. Our tour also included fish fry, Mexican corn, cheese samples, and finally ice cream to end the tour. All in all a great tour however if your from the west coast such as us maybe this tour in summer might be more to your fancy!

Our guide was knowledgeable. He even convinced the restaurants to prepare a substitute because we didn’t eat pork. Overall it was a great time

Tour & young guide were informative & fun. The very bad thing was the operator listed that tour ended @ certain place so we parked our car there, but they changed the ending place w/ out informing us. After walking on the tour, we still had to walk miles & we also got turned around. It was a bad experience.

Taylor was a great guide: personable and entertaining. He throws in a lot of Milwaukee history. There was plenty of good food including cheese, sausages, and fish fry. You will not leave hungry!
