Join us for a HIGH QUALITY, small group snorkel aboard the all new REEF EXPLORER, Maui's only luxury SUPER RAFT and snorkel the world famous Molokini Crater. Enjoy a full hour of snorkeling in this partially submerged volcanic crater, and view over 250 different species of reef fish and coral formations.

REEF EXPLORER is a state of the art, 60 ft Super Raft, which arrives to Molokini Crater in less than 30 minutes. This allows guests more time to snorkel in a private setting, away from crowds.

Our second snorkel stop is at our favorite "Turtle Cove", where we swim and observe the abundant population of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that make this cove home.

Tour includes breakfast pastries, Maui Gold Pineapple, freshly made lunch sandwiches, chips, granola bars, bottled water, sparkling water, Aloha juice, soft drinks, all snorkel gear and flotation devices. Our friendly captains and crew members make this the most personalized, memorable snorkel trip in Maui!

Public Parking is available in Ma’alaea Harbor. PAY AT THE SECURE PARKING SIGNS VIA QR CODE AND ENTER YOUR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER.

The boat cannot be held for late passengers, so please be on time and check in at 7:30 a.m.

No large backpacks or luggage allowed on board

What To Expect

Snorkel the world famous Molokini Crater aboard Reef Explorer - Maui’s newest custom built Super Raft. This ultra smooth ride arrives to Molokini Crater in record speed, staying away from crowds while gliding effortlessly above the water! Once in Molokini, snorkel with over 250 species of reef fish and coral inside this partially submerged volcanic crater, and enjoy a leisurely lunch. From there, our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you to a secluded turtle cove, where you will swim with graceful Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Our favorite turtle cove is not accessible to large tour boats, which allows a completely private experience where we often see up to one dozen turtles at a time! All snorkel gear, lunch, snacks and flotation provided - All you have to do is hop onboard and have fun!

Exceptional experience with Esteban and Jade on the snorkel and turtle adventure. Both were very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful with gear. We saw more marine life than we could have hoped for, had good music, yummy food and a fabulous time. All agreed it was the highlight of our trip.

excellent tour! the boat wasn't full at all, so we had plenty of room. it rained earlier that day but was sunny for us, seas were fine. turtle town: saw a few turtles sleeping mostly (they look like rocks) but did get to catch one swimming! just be patient with them. molokini: so many cool fish but be careful because that current is definitely strong. snacks/drinks provided a plenty (scones, chips, sandwich). everything very smooth. we also saw a bunch of whales along the way!

Was great day! Captain and second mate (marine, biologist) were fantastic! Boat was better than anticipated. Snorkeling was beautiful at the crater although we didn’t see turtles we got to see beautiful humpback whales to our destination and back. Plenty of drinks, snacks, and turkey sandwiches or good..

Esteban and jay, turned a crappy weather day into a good one. We traveled all around looking for a spot but the winds wouldn’t allow molokini or turtle area. We were taken to the best spot weather would allow and boy was it awesome. Without them it would’ve been a long, wet miserable adventure.

It was an amazing tour, such a great vibe with the crew, super flexible stopping every time an animal was spotted. We saw turtles, whales, flying fishes and dolphins! My daughter and I had a great time snorkeling in the Molokini crater and swimming with the turtles.

This was a great adventure for my family. It was fantastic to snorkel near a reef where the water is crystal clear. The fish were plentiful, and we spotted a couple of sea turtles from a distance. On the trip out to the reef, we saw many humpback whales during their migration to Hawaii. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing boat and captains. Saw and swam with many turtles and fish. They come right up to your face. Just make sure you allow time for parking. The dock is very busy.
