The Hana Highway is a 64.4-mile-long (103.6 km) , longest, coastal scenic route in the world. To the east of Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kipahulu as Hawaii Route 31 (the Piilani Highway). This tour covers 59 single lane bridges, over 640 turns and curves, through lush, tropical rainforest. Most of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910
Paia

I would not recommend booking with Stardust Hawaii, LLC. The tour experience was disappointing due to poor communication and misleading information. Prior to booking, I specifically asked if the tour was fully operational and was assured that it was, with only one stop being eliminated. This turned out to be inaccurate. We were not informed ahead of time that multiple key parts of the tour would be canceled. Instead, we only found out after we were already on the bus, and at that point, we were not given the option to cancel or make an informed decision. Several advertised stops were not included, and no proper substitutions were provided. Despite this, when we followed up with the company, they claimed we were taken to a red sand beach — which is simply not true. This kind of inaccurate response only added to the frustration. We politely requested a partial refund due to the changes and lack of transparency, but this was denied. Customer service was poor and not understanding, especially considering the $250 per person spent on this tour. Overall, the issue is not the tour guide, but the company’s lack of honesty, communication, and accountability. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking.

Our guide, Carly, was informative and insightful. She shared some amazing destinations and food choices. For fun Carly tested our knowledge of Hawaiian islands facts. I would definitely ride with her again.

Don’t let the early departure deter you, we didn’t run into any traffic on our trip because of it! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the stops were beautiful. We were dropped back at the hotel before 4pm to still enjoy the evening too!

Guide included all travelers to make them welcome. I really liked getting to try local fruit that the guide provided.

Fantastic experience - our guide Quinn did a great job of sharing stories and history not just about the points of interest along the way, but also about life in Hawaii and the culture. Also, I would recommend having a local driver vs renting a car - much more enjoyable with the winding roads.

Marty was a great tour guide. We had a great day with him and other guests. He shared so many facts we would have never known with out him sharing. As Marty said his company invests in nice vans. Our van was very nice a Mercedes fan with big leather seats. They provided drinks, snacks, and lunch. If we took our rental car up the road to Hana we would not have been able to enjoy the day as much. We stopped for banana bread, bathroom breaks, falls, and had lunch at the black sand beach. Marty skipped the turtle bay on the way up as he knew it was too early, we stopped on the way back and it topped off a great day seeing the turtles. He went out of his way to make this a great experience. There are other companies to chose, but we highly recommend Stardust Tours and Marty.
