The Lauterbrunnen E-Bike Tour with Flying Wheels is a true highlight for nature lovers and leisure travelers. The tour takes you through one of the most breathtaking alpine valleys in Switzerland – the Lauterbrunnen Valley, often referred to as the "Valley of 72 Waterfalls." The very first glimpse of the narrow valley, framed by steep cliffs with dramatic cascading waterfalls, lush green meadows, and traditional chalets, is simply stunning.
With Flying Wheels’ high-quality e-bikes, you glide effortlessly and eco-friendly through the alpine landscape, passing roaring waterfalls like the Staubbach Falls and the Trümmelbach Falls – the latter a hidden natural wonder inside the mountain. And not to be forgotten: our famous Swiss Mountain Picnic! Everything is included in the price.

This is an intermediate level tour and thus NOT appropriate for persons, who are not confident riding a bicycle! For safety reasons we perform a bike riding test before the tour begins. If you sign in but the test reveals that you (or a person you have signed in) is only at beginner bike skill level, we'll have to exclude you (or any person you have signed in) from the tour. In these cases there will be NO REFUND. Thank you for your understanding.
Teens must be at least 16 years to join this tour, and be accompanied by an adult who signs the legal disclaimer
This tour is NOT appropriate for kids/teens below 16 years. Child trailers or child seats are not possible
Operates in case of light rain, please dress appropriately (rain coats and trousers, gloves etc. are provided by us for free). In case of heavy rain the tour is cancelled free of charge. Please don't rely too much on forecasts, speak to us before making wrong conclusions how the weather will be on the day of the tour. We are in the mountains and weather forecasts are not always correct.
There's a weight limit for bicycles and e-bikes of 110 kgs / 240 lbs. For insurance and business liability reasons we are not allowed to hand-out the e-bike if you are above that limit.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect

We start in the center of Interlaken at Höheweg 133, at the Flying Wheels bike shop (return point is as well here)
Kirche Gsteig
A church from 12th century, a ancient wooden bridge having withstood floodings since centuries, and some old wooden chalets dating bach to 16th century: this stop is a true gem on our way to Lauterbrunnen

5.00You will bike approx 44 km (27 miles). We spent about 2.5 hours actually riding the bike. Some decent inclines but there are long areas where you just coast.

5.00This was an amazing e-bike tour!!! The breathtaking scenery, all our fabulous stops and a delicious picnic. Marceau was professional, attentive to the groups needs, and personable. We figured we went about 24 miles and had many stops to refresh our legs. We always felt safe and received all the instructions that we needed to make it happen. I would highly recommend this trip!!!! Great bikes too.

5.00The Flying Wheels E-bike tour was an amazing experience. My daughter and I marveled at the scenery and grandeur of the Swiss Alps all while enjoying the outdoors. Our guide, Marceau, was knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was great from start to finish. I would highly recommend.

5.00This tour overall was a 10/10. The e-bikes were very easy to use. Our guide, Marceau was super informative about the region and gave our group lots of information. We had an amazing picnic with outstanding views. We did the 6 hour tour and that was definitely worth the time. We saw the cute towns on our way to lauterbrunnen and even went to the Trummelbach falls. Would 100% do again and recommend anyone to do this tour! If you have never ridden a bike before, I would not recommend this tour. We are not expert mountain bikers, we bike on bike paths mainly in the US and this tour was perfect for us. If you know how to operate a bike then you should be fine. The tour was well worth it and a must do if you want to explore lauterbrunnen. Add this to your list of things to do now!!

5.00George was our guide and was awesome. Gave us lots of info. Made sure we were all together. Set up a nice fruit cheese meat picnic. Bikes are great to ride. Even though a lot is up hill, you can’t tell with these bikes. It is a great way to see Switzerland.! Thanks George.

5.00Since I didn't get to the area until the night before I hadn't pre-booked. Frank was verry responsive to my email and I showed up the next morning and was added to the tour I wanted. They are located just a few blocks straight up from the train station and I had no trouble finding them. Our guide, Marceau, was knowledgable and friendly. Lunch was lovely, the trip up Trummelbach Falls was amazing and the bike ride was just top drawer all the way. I will be looking to upgrade my own bike with a "comfort seat". I highly recommend taking a Flying /wheels tour if you get the chance :)
