Discover Kurashiki the traditional way: on a rickshaw. As a shogunate crown colony in the Edo period (1603~1868), Kurashiki enjoyed prosperity by storing goods and products from all over Japan. Alongside the canals are white-wall Japanese style warehouses and traditional Japanese houses with willow trees on the bank. This tour can be customized to your preferred departure time, ending point, and length.

Ryosuke's English is very fluent, and when we were wearing furisode or hakama, he kindly helped us get on and off. We were able to enjoy the rickshaw in comfort even in the February cold with a heating pad on the seat. When we chose the one-hour plan, Mr. Ryosuke introduced us to many beautiful landscapes and took many photos. All the pictures were so beautiful, we were really happy. Thanks to Ryosuke's sun-smiling face and kind and easy-to-understand explanation, this trip was a wonderful memory I will never forget. I feel that it was really good to have access to the rickshaw service. Mr. Ryosuke also introduced us to the rickshaws at Ebisuya, which are located in tourist spots throughout Japan. We hope to use it in other regions in the future. Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful memory in my first experience. I am deeply fascinated by the scenery and history and culture of the Kurashiki Bikan area, and I am eager to return and taste its splendor.

We had a Fantastic 1 hour rickshaw tour in Kurashiki from the very knowledgable Kai. He took us to places off the beaten track and explained the history of each area, stopping to take lots of photos en route of us. Great fun, I’d highly recommend taking the tour if you visit.

I'd like to recommend it to you! You can learn about unknown roads without walking, and most importantly, you can learn things that you could not know by yourself in the district! We had a very caring and really pleasant ride and took some nice photos!

This is my second time in Kurashiki, and I feel even more attached to its beauty and uniqueness. I'm glad to have Sho Fujita as my guide again. As always, he was enthusiastic and explained everything about Kurashiki in great depth. I truly enjoyed the tour. I will definitely recommend him, especially to my friends, as a guide in Kurashiki. It seems like I’ll be visiting this place again — and Sho Fujita will definitely be my favorite guide!

Amazing service. It allowed us to see many parts of the old town and learn so much about the history. Later, we were able to walk around confidently and followed the drivers suggestions of where to go. All of his tips were excellent. It’s a perfect thing to do first on your visit, so you know where to go later.

My rickshaw driver on that day is "Sho". He is so friendly & entertaining. I feels like chit chatting with a friend. He pointed out historical buildings and shared interesting facts about Kurashiki's merchant past. Absolutely will come again.

My mother and I have been very helpful. Kurashiki is where my parents honeymooned and where my mother remembers me. My father passed away, and my mother came to Kurashiki with the desire to go to a place where I remember my father. I thought it would be a 30-minute course, but after listening to all the stories, I decided to ask for a 90-minute course. At first I was wondering if it was a bit expensive, but in conclusion it was worth more than the price. We heard about the history and culture of Kurashiki Bikan district and enjoyed Kurashiki a lot. The technology for taking photos on my phone in a photogenic place was excellent, and many good photos were taken in various places. I was also happy with the little care and my mother was very happy and it was a good memory. If you have the chance to come to Kurashiki again, I would love to use it again. Thank you very much.
