2.00Krisha, our guide, was nice but not proactive. We only had 3 hours in Kyoto, yet she did not suggest nor plan to take taxis. She did not propose a realistic itinerary based on her knowledge of the city. She proposed a route where we had to double back rather than choose a route in a continuous direction, and from higher to lower ground. In trying too much to please, she was indecisive. We saw much less than we could have.

1.00I booked this tour on Viator and it specifically stated a Private Car would be provided. I also received an email confirmation stating the tour included a Private car. When contacted by the tour guide they said no private car I have to pay extra. I spoke to this Tour agency and they initially sent me a response stating it was a mistake and they would be including a car. Then they deleted the message and send a different message saying they made a mistake and they won't be providing a car and I'm free to cancel or pay more. This is a classic example of bait and switch and you should stay away from this tour provider. They are not honest and are not concerned about customer service.

5.00Alessandro was an excellent local guide.He took us to Kyoto via train after meeting us at Kobe Port then used public transportation in Kyoto. City. We were able to see the Golden Temple. Shrine of 10000 gates Bamboo Forest, and the Geisha District.all in 9 hours. This tour is a great value for a private tour.

5.00We booked a 4 hr private tour in Kobe for our family of 5. We had Sebastian as our tour guide and he was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the area, had excellent suggestions, engaged with our kids, was friendly, present and aware and all around a wonderful guide! We saw the Herb Garden & Ropeway, & Sebastian recommended an excellent high end restaurant Mouriya Lin because we wanted to try Kobe beef. We had time to stop in at an animal cafe which was a highlight for our kids. Sebastian was the best tour guide we had out of all of our stops in Oskaka, Kobe and Tokyo. The tour guide you are assigned makes all the difference and Sebastian was fantastic!

5.00It was a great day. Our guide Allysa was excellent. Although we had much less time than originally planned for our visit to Kobe (due to disembarkation issues with Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas), we have managed to see most of what was on our bespoke itinerary and get a proper taste of the city and the surrounding area. Allysa also booked us into an excellent Kobe beef teppanyki restaurant for our dinner. The food, the culinary demonstration and the price were all fantastic. We enjoyed our visit to Kobe, Arima Onsen and the Mount Rokko very much indeed :-)
