Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Fantastic experience. Not a true luau, though - no visible pig. The dancing was exciting, and the story was well done.

Save your money and chose something else…the service was poor, had to ask to bring us more water, the lines to the bar were insane. And you can only chose from 4 cocktails for $180??? Really? Only one drink at a time, had to wait in line again. The show was mediocre, plus no showing how they cook the pork. Waist of money and time. Also, before the dinner they offer local shops experience, you need to know everything there is overpriced.

Good food, great and entertaining show! The best part is the full 1 hour show after dinner that tells the story of the discovery of Kauai. Loved it!

Exceeded my expectations. I thought we'd ride a kiddy train like we did years ago on the pineapple plantation years ago, but it's an adult size train and lots of fun. I was worried about not being able to get the gold seats, but we had great seats in the general seating. We could see, hear and participate in every. The food was delicious from salad to desserts. I have allergies and the chef met me and told me what foods I needed to avoid. A plus, there were fresh flowers at the tables and pictures before and after the luau. The luau was amazing!!!!

It is fun, the food was ok, the dance part is impressive and amazing. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it’s too crowded down there, every one sitting in a huge round table with bunch of strangers, and there are so many tables, too crowded.

We had a really lovely time! This e-bike experience was the best way to begin our trip. Lori and Eugene do such a wonderful job of the entire experience, and we learned so much about Kauai and its history! I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone!

The show was fantastic. It was a bit crowded bar line did thin as the night wore on. The food was average at best again likely due to the number of people needing to be fed. Overall a great experience and the grounds were beautiful.

This is a family friendly activity. The vendors had interesting local made jewelry, soaps and handbags. There was a henna tattoo artist that my 4yr old grandson loved. The Imu ceremony revealed a wonderful smelling pork dinner. The story of first arrivals to Hawaii was beautifully told in song and dance.
