Higashi Chaya District (and Kazue Machi)
The most famous tea district and Geisha/Geiko area in Kanazawa. It is also the home of Kinpaku (Gold leaf crafts). You will have the option to make your own gold leaf creation there.It is also possible to drink authentic green macha tea.
The Samurai District
Visit the streets where the Samurai lived. You will enter the houses of the Ashigaru (footsoldiers), and then view the larger residences of the more powerful samurai.
You will have the option of entering the Nomura Samurai house. A kutani pottery museum and tea gardens are also en-route. There is also the option of taking a break for tea or a bite to eat here.
Kenrokuen Gardens
The famous gardens of the six attributes, facing Kanazawa Castle and Utatsu Mountain.There are opportunities to take a break, and to enjoy tea ceremony.

5.00Hiroshi was an excellent guide and driver. He was knowledgeable, attentive to detail and accommodating to some mobility issues. Hiroshi pointed out history and interesting facts and stories. He managed to seamlessly move through crowds. The pièce de résistance was his picture taking at prime spots. We saw everything we had wanted to and more while being driven in a very comfortable and roomy car. Lunch was scrumptious.

5.00Hiroshi is a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable, attentive to detail, accommodating, a wonderful driver and delightful to be with. In addition to taking us to several highlights of Kyoto, Hiroshi took us to a wonderful coffee spot for takeaway and then to a lovely restaurant for lunch. An extra bonus was that Hiroshi took pictures of myself and husband throughout the day to highlight the exceptional beauty of each place that we visited. I highly recommend this tour and Hiroshima’s your guide.

5.00We had wonderful custom experiences with our guide, Nozomi, who was, caring knowledgeable and fun. The highlights were meeting a man of Samurai descent who shared with us his exquisite historic sword collection sword collection. We learned a lot about the Samurai. Another highlight was our dinner and entertainment with two talented performers. The geishas showed us their instruments and had us participate. We had some laughs! Another guide, Romiko, was also wonderful took us privately to meet two different traditional artisans - one who designed some very beautiful kimonos and the other who made fabulous handcrafted wagasa umbrellas. We participated trying out these traditional handicrafts but unfortunately no one wanted to hire us!
