5.00Nozomi-san gave me a wonderful culture tour of Kanazawa. She is so knowledgable and I learned a lot from her. As well as visiting the gardens and the geisha district, we visited a parasol maker and learned about her incredible craft. Nozomi-san took me to the best places to see the work of Kanazawa artisans, places I would not have known to go to without her. My tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan! Cannot recommend highly enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5.00We had the most wonderful day on our tour, truly one of the highlights of our trip. A very special thank you to our fantastic guides Ian Walker from Kanazawa Tours, whose knowledge, warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience so enjoyable and seamless. We started with a beautiful gold leaf experience, creating our own trinket box, which was such a unique and special activity. From there, we explored the charming geisha district, enjoyed a gold leaf sakura cherry blossom ice cream (which was absolutely delicious!) and were lucky enough to see stunning cherry blossoms along the way. Lunch was lovely (I had a delicious seafood meal), and the day just kept getting better. Visiting Kanazawa Castle and the gardens was unforgettable easily some of the most beautiful gardens we’ve seen in Japan. To finish, we went to Morihachi, a historic confectionery that’s been around for over 400 years, where we made traditional Japanese sweets — such a memorable and authentic experience. The entire day was perfectly planned and so enjoyable from start to finish. We truly loved every moment and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kanazawa!

5.00My wife and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable day walking through the key sites and experiences of Kanazawa with our wonderful guide, Yoshiko. The pace of the tour was relaxed and comfortable and Yoshiko was extremely friendly, personable and full of interesting information. We thoroughly recommend this tour to anybody looking for a more detailed insight into this wonderful town.

We toured Omicho Fish Market, * Nagamachi Samurai District (Nomura Clan Samurai Home) * Oyama Jinja Shrine * Kanazawa Castle Park * Kenrokuen Garden * Higashi Chaya Geisha District (Shima Tea House) His knowledge and understanding of the culture and history of the area made for a fascinating day. It was also great that he paced the trip to our needs with stops along the way. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Sachiko Nakai, was great her English speaking and translation was perfect and she was very informed on the history of kanazawa. She was very helpful with recommendations for teenagers. We would book her again!
