Experience the World Heritage Kakadu National Park on this interactive day tour from Darwin. On this small group Kakadu day tour, your Offroad Dreaming Guide will interpret for you, the Ancient Artworks at the Ubirr Rock Art Sites, spend time with the Artworks at ground level, or climb to the top to view the 360' lookout over the Wetlands from the Nadab lookout, join the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on the East Alligator River, to hear about the history and culture of the people and the land and take up their invitation for a step into Arnhem Land, where there will be a cultural demonstration. Had a brilliant experience on our trip to Kakadu with our driver and guide, Neville. Very knowledgeable and conducted the day at a nice pace. Supplied lots of snacks throughout the day and there were numerous stops to use facilities. The bus itself was so comfortable and you could really feel the air con, so a long day of travel was very comfortable. For anyone who may have concerns regarding the walking involved, it was fairly easy on pathways, with lots of stops along the way. There is a large rockshelf that you can climb which was a lot easier than I thought it would be where it will show you the most spectacular view of Kakadu N.P.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. If you're after cultural experience choose this fabulous company. We saw stunning landscapes and learned so much about the rock art and First Nations culture. Our cruise was enjoyable and informative. Don't get on a bus with 40 other people, choose this small-group experience instead. The food was fresh and delicious, too. Do yourself a favour and choose Offroad Dreaming for your trip to Kakadu.

Well organised and Neville our guide was fantastic and gave detailed history accounts of Darwin, the Indigenous art and information about Kakadu. He went the extra mile. Neville picked us up from the caravan park, provided multiple toilet stops, provided a snack for morning tea, buffet chicken and salad lunch. Homemade cookies on the trip home. I would highly recommend this tour. We saw the ancient indigenous artwork, we looked at the flood plains and then we did river cruise to see the crocs at Cahill Crossing and then we also went further up Adelaide River, and walked out on Arnhem Land. Roman was our River Guide and he shared the indigenous culture and ways with us. A big thank you to the whole team, we had a wonderful day, making memories with other people on the cruise.

Norm our guide is a people person, very down to earth and knowledgeable. The group itself was fab and friendly and looked after each other - something Norm reminded us of at the start of the day. Loved the intro to Kakadu and will be back for a longer overnight tour in future. Also loved the river tour and Arnhem Land stop - an incredible place to return to, over and over again. Something truly magical about the land and the people and being in nature. Thankyou! 🙏

When I discovered rock art I realized how important it was to have the help of a guide. Just as our Aboriginal pilot made boat trip very informative and entertaining at the same time. Of course one day allows only a tiny discovery of the huge Kakadu Park, but I found the choice on offer interesting.

A great day with a wonderful driver and guide Nev. It is a long day but unrushed, lots to see and experience. From wetlands, abit dry in September, rock art (amazing). Don’t miss the view from the lookout, bit of a climb but as long as you take your time it’s ok. Alligator river cruise was amazing, lots of crocodiles and a wonderful aboriginal guide whose knowledge of how things were done by his people was also amazing.

Our guide Norm was fantastic from pick up at Darwin and thought out the day. Very thoughtful with tidbits of information and observations. The Ubirr stop for rock art was amazing, but where this tour was particularly fabulous was the East Alligator boat tour with the TO’s. Absolutely first class access to this special and remote part of the land.

Nevil was a great source of knowledge about the area. He attended to all of our needs, including a breakfast stop at a local spot where we could purchase our choice, and he prepared a wonderfully healthy lunch spread. We also were provided several snacks along the way. This was a well planned informative adventure. I highly recommend this tour.
