Brought here on our NZ Tour. This was a fantastic experience. Great background to the Antarctic centre, 4D movie exhibit, sub zero snowstorm room, Hagglund ride, wildlife info, real life rescued blue penguins and huskies...Whats not to enjoy! Definitely recommend this tour.

This is an excellent informative hands on visit. Our kids don’t love museum type activities usually but rated this A+ - highly recommend for the snow storm, over lander and 4d experiences and more!!

A great experience. We were a family group from 12 weeks to 67 years and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We got 09.00 tickets which turned out to be a super time to visit.

Kia ora, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent purchase for entry to the International Antarctic Centre. Reference number: 1353558369 I paid NZD 153.72 for two adults, however I later discovered that the on-site rates offered directly by the Antarctic Centre are cheaper, particularly when student and senior concessions are applied. I am a current student, and had this information been made clear at the time of booking, I would not have proceeded at this price. This has left me feeling disappointed and misled, as your platform is promoted as offering better or discounted rates compared to purchasing directly. In this case, that was not true. I kindly request that the price difference be reimbursed to my account before my departure. I would prefer to resolve this matter directly and amicably, and I hope you can assist promptly. I look forward to your response and a fair resolution.

Great fun ! We loved the centre, learnt loads and enjoyed all the displays and activities. All the staff were lovely and friendly and it wasn’t busy even in the peak holiday time.

The Antarctic experience was an excellent place to visit starting with the Huskies, through the evolution and impact of the Arctic to experiencing sub-zero temperatures and finishing with a rollercoaster ride in a Hagglund.

The 4d experience could really be upgraded, even the footage is average. A video game is more realistic. I think it's exactly the same as it was in the 90s so I wonder what they've been doing with $75+ from every single customer for 3 decades. There was only 1 husky that you get to pat amongst another 30 people over a fence which was also a bit underwhelming but glad the dogs are not being exploited I guess. Hagglund ride was fun! But another loop round would have made it more worth it. The snow storm could have some blizzard snow added and some sound effects and life size models to make it more of an experience. The info was nice

An OK filler activity but nothing amazing. If you're interested in Antarctica it's probably a great attraction but my teenaged kids found it boring (even the 4D movie). My animal loving daughter was disappointed that the husky zone was one dog you could pet briefly. Storm room was the highlight. Hagglund was fun but it's a 10 min activity of going over three hills, a real shame it isn't longer because that would be an awesome experience and worth paying for. I wouldn't recommend spending the extra money for a backstage with the penguins, compared to other encounters we've done it was very boring - it didn't help that there were 0 penguins in the enclosure but at least we got to see a couple in the back. The keeper was clearly passionate though. Also it's only little blues so don't expect to see any birds that are actually from Antarctica.
