What To Expect
Montreux
The journey, of about 1km for the 1h tour and 2km for the extended 2h30 tour, through Montreux presents no difficulty and is suitable for everyone. From the departure point, we will go to the Freddie Mercury statue via the Casino Barrière. We will make various stops along the way to discover many points of interest related to Freddie Mercury and Queen.

5.00Informative, fun and a real sense of getting to know a little about the man behind the myth. What was of greatest interest to me was to see and get a feel of the location/Casino/Smoke on The Water episode and the other artists who recorded at Mountain Studios. It is easy when listening in the UK to think that these records were recorded at the top of a snow covered peak, not in a Casino in downtown Montreux. Fascinating.

5.00Possibility to choose a tour of 1h or 2h30, this is the long tour we have chosen. It's well organized, each with its own ipod and headphones. The tour alternates between watching ipod photos and hearing stories about Freddie and the Queen band, visiting places where the band has been and the guide's lyrics. Among other things, we have explored: Montreux palace, the small palace, statues of Claude Nobs and Freddie, casino of Montreux (Mountain recording studio), access door and its tribute wall,... full of anecdotes!

5.00I like Freddie Mercury and Queen but I'm not obsessed fan... Yet I thoroughly enjoyed this tour!! Lots of interesting info and very well done! Highly recommended whether you're a casual fan like me or a huge fan like many others.
