A great way to explore a few different vineyards without having to drive and be able to enjoy the local produce. Our driver, Pete, was great - friendly and able to answer our questions/advise on what would be best for our day. Good local knowledge and answered lots of our questions about New Zealand. All stops ran very close to the schedule and there’s a good variety of stops to suit everyone.

Our cruise ship arrived a day late on New Years Day - a public holiday. The Hop on Hop Off crew worked hard to look after us and their positivity and hospitality was excellent. The team was very knowledgeable and had already called ahead to the stops to check which ones were open on NY day - thank you for such a wonderful, if not quick, stop in Napier! Highly recommended!

We stopped in Picton on our cruise with Royal Caribbean cruise and had a great time! JJ at Hop on Hop off was nothing short of amazing! She was a life saver for our family of 10 and set us up on a great tour. We were so thankful and would highly recommend using Hop on Hop off if you’re stopping in Picton anytime soon. Their route affords you the opportunity to stop at several wineries, a place for some great chocolate, and a spot — The Village — that is great for kids. The countryside you get to see along the way is beautiful as well!

Hop on this one right away!! Fabulous views of the countryside. For a non-wine person, I was pleased there were lots of other appealing stops. The Blue Penguin is a very cute shop and prices better than other places for same merch. Grab a pizza and Speights beer at the Keg & Cork. Excelleny food and great patio. Leave room for the confection shop. The toffy is to die for and staff gives free samples. The Villages was a delight. This was the only place on my trip that had a fabric shop. Lots of fat quarters going home with me!! All in all a perfect day!

Easy way to see area with time allowed by cruise ship. We wanted to do a small amount of shopping. It worked but was limited. Stopped for a fun lunch at the Cork and Keg. Great pizza. Saw vineyard areas

Went to the pickup location which is in front of the HoHo office at 9.45am ish. Was checked in promptly by the driver. Very smooth and professional. 10.00am Tour starts and we head into Blenheim. Great commentary along the way. People get off where they want. I went to the Omaka Classic car museum because I'm a die hard petrol head. Fantastic place. So many cars to geek out on. The smell of oil and old interiors of the beautiful machines was so good. I dont remember how much time I spent at the museum but started to get hungry. Hopped on the bus and made my way down to the Woodbourn Tavern for a late lunch. Definitely got too happy with the pints. The staff at the Tavern let me sample some of the beer to help me choose my next pint. Cheers to them. After my early happy hour I hopped on the bus when I can and went to Vines Village. You can do wine tasting, whiskey tasting, gin tasting etc at this village. Great place overall. After hopping on the bus we ventured on to our last stop which is Makana Confectionery for a quick sample of great chocolate. Great tour. Great day. Cool driver. 100% would do the tour again.

Awesome service with excellent customer service. We had a very knowledgeable, friendly, fun driver Pete, who kept us entertained along the way, as we hopped off and back on again. We were very well looked after :) We were even personally dropped back to the front door of our hotel!

A good experience that would have been improved if we had been sent information and timetable a week earlier, with guidance to book in at each venue in advance. A number of the venues were not able to cope well with drop in visitors.
