This trip was perfect!!!! Our driver Mike was great. He was knowledgeable of the area as he’s lived in Vegas his whole life, he was funny and gave specific instructions for each stop! It was plenty of time to see the massive damn and its beauty!

We made a total of four stops on the tour: the Las Vegas sign, a small town before the dam for a bathroom break, a scenic overlook of Lake Meade, and finally the dam. All of the stops were nice and pretty much what we expected. If there was one thing that needed to change it would have been the offensive narrative from our driver/tour guide, Michael. On a bus containing a good number of children, he somehow felt it was appropriate to use profanity and sexually themed 'jokes'. One example: while describing a walk he took with a date somewhere around Lake Meade he shared he really hadn't been interested in the scenery, he was "just trying to get lucky". Another example: when we pulled into the garage drop-off at Hoover Dam, there was a statue of a man portraying a dam worker who had drilled the mountains for explosives back in the day. Our guide thought it was clever to note that he "had a 40 pound jackhammer between his legs. At least that's what his wife said." Really? There was more, plenty more, but you get the idea. Apparently this guy Michael thought he was clever, amusing, and entertaining. He was none of those. He was pompous, rude, and inappropriate. He almost ruined the trip for my wife, and I can't imagine how the parents of the children felt. I also can't believe, given this guy's personality, that I am the first one to complain. And I find it disturbing that the operator hasn't taken steps to insure that his remarks haven't been addressed so that he doesn't continue to offend and upset the customers. He made a point of letting us know if we were leaving a five star review his name was Michael, but if it was one star his name was Stanley. Ok, nothing wrong with that, it was actually kind of funny. It's too bad the review is not divided into sections like driver, comfort, attractions, etc. If it was I would give the trip four stars and give 'Michael' zero stars or even better, a negative number. By the way, this is not our first tour, and we always, ALWAYS, give a generous tip to the guide. In this case we gave nothing because we felt that he detracted from our enjoyment in a huge way. This guy Michael is a jerk, and the operator needs to do something about him.

The departure time was 90 minutes earlier than expected. It was impacted by the F1 race but the timing seemed poorly communicated

Due to the time of the year, there were 15 of us so we traveled in a smaller bus. Our driver and tour guide Michael with gray line tours was informative, entertaining very personable. I would highly recommend him. Our stops at Lake Mead, the Pat Tillman and Mike O’Callahan Bridge, and the Hoover Dam were great. We were able to go down into the dam, which was quite informative.

The driver was very knowledgable. The trip was well worth the money. Driver also took us to see the local wildlife just grazing in a local playground which I thought was pretty cool.
