5.00I went on 3 food tours with Magical Trip. One in Tokyo, in Osaka and one in Hiroshima. It's unfortunate that booking with a good company doesn't mean you'll get a good tour guide! Osaka was disappointing as hell but this one in Hiroshima, with Yuji was really really awesome and well done. The food selection was interesting and included places or items that we may not get ourselves (which is what you want in a tour!), the conversations were really interesting and genuine. Our questions were all answered and we were able to discuss everything from history, to daily life to light politics to personal matters (and of course food!). After doing 3 of these tours, I really believe that what made this was special and really 'worth it' was because of our tour guide Yuji. Big thanks and highly recommended!

5.00Did the Hiroshima Bar hopping tour last night with Kaku. He was brilliant and took us to 3 great venues. Certainly we wouldn't have found these venues. Was great sharing the evening with Kaku - was very personable and fantastic to chat with. Would highly recommend him and the tour. Very good night out

5.00Yoko was brilliant! We started off with a brilliant okonomiyaki where we got to watch the experienced chef make it 'Hiroshima-style' right in front of us. From there we went to a sushi bar that we would have never found on our own (it was on the 3rd Floor of a building?!), and finally to a sake-shop-by-day-restaurant-by-night which also allowed us to watch the making process and try a bunch of different sake. Really appreciated Yoko's attention to detail and willingness to adapt her plans according to conversations we were having about what we'd like to experience and what we hadn't tried yet. 10/10, highly recommend!

5.00My guide Yuji was so great! We went to multiple restaurants and tried a bunch of delicious food and drinks- he also took me to the illumination lights installation and pointed out several historical spots of significance related to the attack on Hiroshima. We had great conversation and he gave me tips and hidden gems for the rest of my trip- highly recommend!

5.00We are not fans of organized trips but we joined this one on friend’s recommendation and oh, boy: what a great time we had! 3 restaurants with a decent selections of snacks and drinks but the true star was Yuij - our guide. We’ve learnt more from him about Japan, its culture, history and social aspects than reading guidebooks before coming here. Don’t hesitate - just book. Great experience, just be open minded and have fun.
