Looking for the best way to see TC? Look no further...this is the very first thing you should do when arriving to TC to get your lay of the land and pick out things you want to go back and visit while here.
On this tour we highlight 5 beautiful areas of Traverse City including:
• Downtown Front Street
• The Warehouse District
• The GT Commons area (old asylum)
• The Open Space & Clinch Park/Marina area
• Old Towne
As you ride, your driver will share info about the areas attractions, neighborhoods, history, architecture, food & beverage scene (very HOT in TC) and anything else you want to know. This is the perfect way to get to know the town and then figure out what else you want to do. Comfortably seats 2 people per rickshaw (a small 3rd person works sometimes also).
NOTE: Pricing does not include your guide/drivers gratuity. Although a gratuity is not mandatory, 20% is the industry average for a job well done ツ

Bay Life Getaways offers local tours. Tours run 1hr but you can add extra hours. Each cab holds 3 average sized adults or 2 bigger adults. We will take you on one of our preplanned tours or let you tell us where you want to go. Maybe a brew tour? Maybe something else?
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons
Your driver will tour you through the spectacular commons area while sharing some history about the grounds. Get you camera ready....this place is really something to see!

1.00No one showed up. My children and I waited in the hot sun for 20 minutes after driving four hours to get to TC and no one showed up or communicated anything. I called and texted and no one responded. This is very disappointing.

1.00We booked online and got a confirmation along with our “ticket” the day before our ride. Ten minutes before our scheduled departure time the driver texted to tell us she was overbooked and would not be honoring our reservation. Wouldn’t the driver have recognized the conflict earlier than ten minutes before and let us know before we drove to get there? The driver never apologized or told us how to get a refund. I was on my own to call viator. Viator was helpful in addressing the concern. Use caution if this ride looks appealing. You might be left standing on the sidewalk.

5.00Absolutely learned a lot about the history of Traverse City and terrific ideas of where to eat and what to see while we were in the city! Because Michelle highly recommended them, we went on the Guided Historic Building & Tunnel Tour with The Village at Grand Traverse, ate at Bubbas and Sleders, and shopped at Momentum of Traverse City!
