Beautiful day with fabulous views of the Alps and Lake Zurich, churches, castles, interesting sculptures, and a delicious lunch! Our guide, Carsten, was very knowledgeable. He was also flexible and able to give us more time at the places we wanted to spend more time and a little less when we were all ready to move on. I was able to see and experience everything on my list for this tour! I also was able to find the souvenirs I was looking for and get the passport stamped! Big thank you to Carsten!!!

This tour was unforgettable thanks to Walter and his Serbian driver. They weren’t just guides — they made the whole group feel like one big team. The energy was so positive, the organisation was perfect, and the knowledge about history and Swiss culture was impressive. But what really stood out was their kindness and generosity — and the humour! I don’t think I’ve laughed that much on a tour before. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. If you’re thinking of booking this trip, do it — you’ll have the best day.

Excellent service. Kind and well mannered staff and bus driver. Will certainly book other tours again. Very informed tour guide. Since the weather permitted, tour bus climbed higher, to permit us to visit Heidiland.

The tour spent too much time at the first two stops (the medieval town and Heidiland), we got to Liechtenstein close to darkness and only had 1 hour to explore. Tour starts at 11am, don't know why it starts so late....So if your main purpose is to check out Liechtenstein and don't care about the other two stops too much, you should probably go by yourself...

I really enjoyed this off-the-beaten-path tour. While it wasn’t like seeing the Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, or Big Ben, it was very picturesque and scenic. The tour began with a city tour of Zurich en route to Rapperswil, a quaint European town with cobblestoned streets. Lunch was on your own. Then it was off to Heidiland. Yes, it’s a bit of a tourist trap, but still fun, you’re in the Alps. Around 4:00 p.m., you leave for Vaduz. You have a little over an hour to explore, which is enough given its small size. A quick return to Zurich follows, with arrival around 7:00 p.m.

This tour has some of the prettiest scenes, even just from the bus! We loved Heidiland (especially the little goats). The amount of time in Liechtenstein was perfect for us, but it wasn't quite enough time to see any of the museums, if that is of interest.

Great tour and value for the price! The tour guide and driver, Raymond and Drago (sp?) were fantastic, and all the stops along the way were great! Heidiland briefly reopened for the holidays, so we ended up visiting after all! I didn’t pay to enter the houses, but enjoyed walking the grounds and enjoying the spline scenery. Vaduz and Rapperswil were also lovely, with those stops were 1-1.5 hours for free time. Lunch is recommended for Rapperswil, but you can choose to eat later in Vaduz if you prefer - just decide based on when you’re hungry!

At the Central Bus Station we checked in with Meier Travel for our Viator, “Heidiland & Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich” which we had booked in advance. Our guide today was Raymond who gave the tour in English and Spanish. We had probably 35 to 40 people on the two-level bus. He did a great job of guiding us today during our three stops (lunch break in Rapperswil). Rapperswil was a pleasant surprise with several interesting things to see and do. Photos of a very long wooden bridge in and the William Tell building. Climbed up 100 steps to overlook the town and purchased a hard pretzel. It started to rain as we came down, so we went to a small shop, and each had a cup of tea. It cleared as we loaded the bus. We headed for Heidiland. I do not remember the book, but it was supposed to be about a young girl named Heidi who came to live with her grandfather. They were later joined by Peter the goat herder and a girl named Claire. The book was written in 1880’s and was printed in 55 languages. They offer a lot of things to see and do in this country setting. It would be appropriate for families with young children. We only had an hour in Liechtenstein but found it to be worthwhile.

The stop in Rapperswil was excellent, but the rest of the day was disappointing. We didn’t get to Liechtenstein until after sunset, so we saw nothing and the museums we wanted to visit were closed. The tour should leave earlier than 11am. Also, the tour description clearly states that they visit a small Swiss village instead of Heidiland in December. However, we were dragged to this absurd devotion to a book/movie and had to wander in the cold for an hour. I don’t think anyone on the bus wanted to go there. We would not have signed up if we thought Heidiland was on the itinerary.

Walter was an amazing tour guide, with a great sense of humor. We stopped at Rapperswil, Heidiland and Vaduz on our tour. It would have been nice if we stopped in Vaduz earlier, as by the time we reached Vaduz, everything was already shut. Rapperswil was great and so was Heidiland. I def recommend the tour - it's worth the value and time.
