The abseiling starts with a beginner friendly 5 metre high cliff. Your instructors are close at hand to encourage and explain the techniques.

With your instructor explaining each step, you progress through to a 15 metre high cliff finishing on a thrilling 30 metre high drop.

The setting is beautiful bush land, making it both a scenic and exciting adventure!

What To Expect

SPECTACULAR HALF-DAY ABSEILING A brilliant half-day abseiling adventure. Our spectacular half day abseiling tour is simply the best action packed half day adventure you can have in the Blue Mountains. We start with a smallish 5 metre abseil. If you have abseiled before this abseil gets you back in the swing of things. If you have never abseiled before it teaches you the technique of abseiling. Your instructors are close at hand to encourage and explain the techniques. From here we head straight on to 15 metre abseils which you can do a couple of times. Then with your instructor explaining each step, you progress through to our 30 metre adrenaline pumping overhanging abseil. The setting is the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park, making it both a scenic and exciting adventure!

Excellent morning, great leader who gave clear instructions and paid carefully attention to safety. Exhilarating abseils with more descents than we expected in fabulous scenery. Would suit beginners or a great way to spend a morning if you don’t have time for a longer adventure.

This was a fantastic few hours. Brian was great. Really knew his stuff and made everyone very comfortable facing the huge 30m drop.we had 3 teenagers and a 12 year old in the group. Parents were welcome to walk to the sites with the group and take photos. Would definitely recommend doing when in the blue mountains

This was a really great experience for beginners! The instructors were amazing, the views were superb and the different three levels/jumps were great for easing you into abseiling slowly. Definitely made me want to do it again!

The Half Day Abseiling was a great experience and a way to see parts of the Blue Mountains I would never otherwise have seen. I felt that I was in good hands with the abseiling guides, and pushed myself beyond my comfort zone.

The abseiling half day was the perfect amount of time to learn the ropes and push ourselves out of our comfort zone. The guide was awesome and full of knowledge, teaching us not only about abseiling but about local plant and wildlife. As a bonus we were joined by an expert assistant, Ruby the dog!

Great excitement, fun, and a sense of accomplishment. Loved it! Even though it was misty, foggy at times, and some light rain it just added to the whole thrill of the experience and the beauty of the day.
