Had a great experience visiting the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. SweetTours was very communicative and clear on the expectations for the trip, which surpassed what we though going in. Clean and comfortable bus. Our driver, Jackie, was phenomenal! She not only ensured that we got to our destination safely but had great advice and tips on how to make the best out of the experience and kept us all entertained with her charming demeanor and great anecdotes about the areas we were traveling through and their history. Very entertaining and personable. Definitely recommend!!

⭐️ If I could give this experience negative stars, I absolutely would. My best friend and I recently took a Sweet Tours trip to the Hoover Dam, and what we encountered was not only disappointing but steeped in implicit bias and disrespect. From the very beginning, the tone of the tour set an uncomfortable precedent. We were the first guests picked up and intentionally selected the two seats directly behind the driver—my friend sat behind him, and I sat in the seat to the right. After breakfast, we returned to the bus to find a white couple seated in the seats we had originally chosen. Rather than addressing this inconsistency or upholding a clear seating policy, the driver turned to the entire bus and made an announcement along the lines of: “If you want to save your seat, make sure you leave your things in it.” This guideline was never communicated at the start of the tour and felt targeted, contrived, and directed at us. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the driver chose to shift responsibility onto us in a way that felt dismissive and rooted in bias. It was an unnecessarily uncomfortable and alienating moment. The problems only continued. The tour advertised breakfast with a vegetarian option. My best friend ordered the vegetarian meal, which—according to the company’s own description—should have included hashbrowns, eggs, and toast without meat. Instead, she was served a plate of lettuce, tomatoes, and celery, as though the restaurant had no idea what vegetarians eat. When she asked about the discrepancy, the waitress admitted she “didn’t know what vegetarians ate.” This was not only unprofessional but demeaning, especially when the actual vegetarian option was clearly listed. Then came the Hoover Dam tour itself—another enormous disappointment. The educational portion of the tour, the part that actually makes the experience meaningful, was not available that day, and we were not informed in advance. Instead of receiving the full tour we paid for, we were given a partial experience and refunded a mere $5 on a $25 ticket. The entire trip cost around $100, and to say it was not worth it is an understatement. Between the implicit bias, the poor communication, the mishandled vegetarian meal, and the incomplete tour, we left feeling disrespected, marginalized, and entirely dissatisfied. This experience made us feel like second-class citizens and left a lasting negative impression. Sweet Tours failed on professionalism, inclusivity, and basic customer care. I would not recommend this company to anyone—and if negative ratings were possible, that is exactly what I would give.

Manny, bus driver, Ken, tour guide. We couldn’t have been more impressed with Ken’s knowledge and insights during our fabulous trip. He kept it going with information, tips and tricks for the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. You could tell he absolutely enjoyed his job as well as sharing his love for the areas history. Manny manned the bus like a BOSS. Thank you to both for a fantastic trip! THIS is the tour to take.
