What To Expect
Chaiya Mangalaram Thai Buddhist Temple
Your driver will pick you up from your respective hotel or cruise terminal to proceed with the city Tour. Firstly you will visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found
Dhammikarama Burmese Temple
Right across the road you may also visit the Dharmikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.

3.00It was advertised as "Half Day Penang City Tour with Time Tunnel 3D Museum from Penang Island-5 Hours" but I was told on pick-up that there was no Time Tunnel 3D museum - they should've told me this beforehand - as they were communicating with me the evening before. Big disappointment. So myself and the driver (I was the only person on the actual tour) just made up places to go to fill up the 5 hours. Definitely was not worth anything near what I paid. I recommended that they took down the previous incorrect title - which I can see they have done.
