Visit the World Heritage Sites of Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima and Hiroshima's Atomic Bomb Dome on this leisurely tour. Visit the Main Building of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which was newly reopened after renovations in April 2019. What To Expect
After meeting at Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti B1F, our staff will guide you to Kyoto Station on foot. From there, you will enjoy a comfortable ride on the Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima Station with reserved seating in either a Standard Car or the premium Green Car. Please note: This train journey is unguided. Upon arrival at Hiroshima Station, your local tour guide will greet you on the platform and escort you to the tour bus boarding point, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your Hiroshima adventure.
Itsukushima Shrine
Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

5.00Absolutely stunning experience. While the first half of the tour in Miyajima island was classy and spiritual, the second half of the atomic bomb dome and peace museum choked us with tears. But as our tour guide Keiko San said, we all left Hiroshima with a big smile!!

5.00This tour company did an excellent job organizing everything and even got us reserved seats on the bulletin trains to and back all included in the price of the tour. We greatly appreciated that! They walk you to and from the meeting point to the bullet train and even give you free time before each train to get snacks and food before leaving on the train. Our guide once on the bus was great and very informative. He answered any questions we had and was very diligent in making sure we knew what time to be back and where. Great tour!
