Explore the neighborhood just north of the famous Nanjing Road. Known for its colonial history during the Republic of China, this area of Shanghai was home to some of the city's most famous locals and expats during the 1920s and 1930s.

5.00We had Janne as our tour guide and she was incredible. Our family of four loved this tour. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had six different stops and each stop included food from a different part of China. The tour also included some alcohol. Our only criticism was that my husband said he would have enjoyed a beer earlier in the tour, rather than at our last two stops when we were already so full. Everything else was perfect and I highly recommend this tour.

4.00Great tour for getting a taste of many of China's cuisines. Restaurants were all very good. Wish there was more sightseeing in between stops, but still a very nice experience. Hope was a great tour guide.

5.00It was a fun food tour with interesting food. We were met outside of the metro station by Li. Li was an excellent host, giving us lots of interesting facts about the locations we went to and the food we were eating. We had a fun time trying to guess where Li originally came from. The walk two the eating locations were all quite close, so ok for lots of people. Our party consisted of only three guests. If you are in Shanghai and are looking for a food tour, try this one.

He was very knowledgeable about everything we tried and the evening was well organized so that we were able to transition easily from one place to the next. Topher did a great job getting everyone to socialize and it was a fun group. I would strongly recommend this tour!

5.00My daughter and I did the night food tour with Hope and had a great experience. Hope was a terrific guide to Shanghai's food scene, and we really enjoyed getting the chance to taste multiple cuisines at several different restaurants. The only problem was that we were completely stuffed by the end! Loved UnTour so much that we've booked another tour for Beijing when we're there.

5.00I love food and love trying new things! This tour did not disappoint at all! Not only did I get to try everything from locusts to rice wine, but our guide gave us the history, ingredients, and context for everything we ate. It was a lot of fun!
