  • Amazing Experience

We had a one-night layover on the Gold Coast and did not want to miss the opportunity to experience something truly Australian—cuddling a koala and interacting with kangaroos. This sanctuary was an absolute delight and made our visit even more special as it took place during our honeymoon. The eagle show was breathtaking, showcasing the birds’ power and grace in a truly majestic way. The lamb shearing demonstration was both fun and informative, providing an entertaining glimpse into traditional Australian farming. The kangaroos were surprisingly gentle and friendly, making it a joy to interact with and pet them up close. In addition, we had the chance to see several other unique Australian animals, including wombats and Tasmanian devils, which made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this wonderful sanctuary to visitors of all ages—it is an unforgettable experience and a must-see while visiting the area.

We loved our day out - heaps to do, range of birds/reptiles/mammals! It was busy today but that time of year and staff were pleasant & friendly! We stopped for a cold drink and a bite to eat, which was very good! Highlights were the Pelicans & eel feeding, Red Panda and Koalas! Recommend!

Staff were exceptional - from Chris in the chicken/snake/lizard/goat pen to Ian in the kangaroo pen, we were dazzled by their conversation and wit. Also very informative about their animals and birds and obviously cares about these animals.

We had a great day! Good for adults and families IMO. It was great to see all the animals native to AU. Several free shows included: birds flight, cultural show, feeding of the lorikeets. Several places to eat. We spent almost the entire day there. Very educational. Highly recommend it if you want an opportunity to see wildlife. Animals are well taken care of. Koala nursery was wonderful! And fun to mingle with the kangaroos.

I visited the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary with my family. It was a fantastic day out. A spacious area and well mapped out. Unfortunately the train was not operational which was a shame. The bird show was very informative with good speakers. A great selection of Australian animals and birds to see. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend others to visit if in the area

I had never been but friends of mine asked me to come with them as they were taking German relative. Really not a lot to see a few kangarros and wallaibies, a few lizars and turtles. Some fresh water crocodiles, etc. First thing is the signage is very poor. Nothing is clear. Maps are also not good. We had to ask people where things were as signs were confusing. The bird display could be great but today, they were not at their best, even the brush tail possum was not going to play the game. What was so bad is the mistakes made by one of the presenters. Eagles do not fly at 1000km as she stated and some international tourists have no idea of whey they are being told is incorrect. Suspect got km and M mixed up. The gift shop has lemurs, lamas, etc., for sale, Is this not confusing to tourists...

The park is clean and suitable for parents to enjoy watching animals or playing water all day long; can touch a tailless bear on their own, and there are many relatives kangaroos to touch. Animal hospital just met the veterinarian is helping the snake to anesthetize, clear clean surgery room, very difficult experience! The park at any time there are some shows, explain different animals, a variety of styles
