By discussing several different types of birds–eagles, owls, hawks, and falcons–the student gains a new appreciation for the bird’s inherent abilities and the nature of predation. After discussing the birds, the hawks are flown free in the surrounding countryside. This was the most amazing experience that my wife and I have ever encountered! We learned so much and getting to experience falconry firsthand feels like a once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely book this experience and do it again. Scott and Deanna were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our whole experience. They really made this experience amazing!

What an incredible experience! The falconers at Broadmoor really know their stuff. This experience taught the history of falconry, what it takes to become a falconer in the US, and lots about the birds that make falconry possible. I fancy myself a bird nerd but I still learned so much!

Deanne, Scott and Ty we're the best team to lead this experience. My wife and I had such a good time - and the passion of the three of them added exponentially to the experience. Thank you!

Everyone was very welcoming and informative. The falconer, Dana was very informative about the birds and you can tell she cares for them very well. It lasted longer than anticipated, which is nice because I feel you really get your moneys worth. The weather was great as well.

What an incredible experience! Spending time and hands on with Owls, Falcons and hawks was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, I was laughing, learning and completely inspired. The passion and knowledge shared was fantastic and the photos and videos they captured were absolutely fantastic. I got to see an Owl's ear up close, pet the Owl and Maverick actually caught a vole on his own and I got to feel his crop after he ate it. This is one of those rare moments that stays with you long after it's over.

This was a wonderful experience to see birds of prey up close. Luckily, the weather was very nice for the outdoor portion. The indoor classroom was nice and even though a small space, it was well kept. A little expensive, but probably due to its association to the Broadmoor name.
