5.00My mom and I booked this tour and I'm so happy we did! Didier was a wonderful tour guide, and we had a wonderful time with the other 2 guests that were on the tour with us. I definitely would recommend!

5.00This day trip was all worth it for us, I think it would be hard to cover all 3 borders on our own in one day. We give ALL the credit to Christian who patiently toured us around, took our pictures, constantly checking if there is something else we wanted to see/do other than what's included in the tour. When everything was almost done, Christian bought our adult kids tickets to climb and explore the Basel Minster Towers--this was one of the kids' unforgettable experiences during the tour. We enjoyed it immensely, visiting the Christmas markets in Freiburg and Basel was worth it. At the end of the tour, Christian gave us time to buy souvenirs and goodies and gifted us with a bottle of Alsace wine-- that was very thoughtful.

4.00As advertised, we drove to three markets starting in Freiburg, Basel and Egesheim. The group was split into two vans, so while Didier was our main contact, we had Julia and Gael with us. While they didn't speak fluent English, one would appreciate how they hard they tried to communicate and share bits and pieces of information about the places we passed through. Once at the markets, Didier took the lead in explaining and giving a bit of background about each of the markets we visited. Overall, it was a good excursion. However, I think Basel wasn't that special or different from the others. In fact, most of the kiosks only took cash and none of us had Swiss francs. Freiburg was good; Egesheim was the best but we stayed there the shortest. Perhaps, the tour organizers consider replacing Basel with some place more interesting and allocate more time in Egesheim.
