I highly recommend this tour, especially with Mr. Yut! It was an amazing experience to see Thailand's best temples, but having Mr. Yut there to explain the history behind them really elevated the entire day. He was incredibly attentive and kept us perfectly on schedule. As a huge bonus, he took so many amazing photos for us. If you want a stress free and educational tour, ask for Mr. Yut!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our private tour with Mr. Yut! From start to finish, he was incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every moment. His knowledge of the temples and history was impressive. he shared fascinating details that truly brought each site to life. Not only was he an excellent guide, but he was also our personal photographer, helping us capture beautiful photos throughout the day. He made sure we always had plenty of water and snacks, and his thoughtful care made the entire excursion smooth and memorable. We were able to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning culture and history of the area. You can explore each temple to your pace since it is a private tour. Lunch was also included. The private tour allowed us to make the most of our time and appreciate each location without the stress, time crunch or crowds of a large group. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a meaningful, enjoyable, and hassle-free way to explore. Thank you, Mr. Yut, for making our trip memorable !

Yut was AMAZING! He went out of his way to make our family happy, and comfortable on our trip. We were a family of 4 traveling with a 9 and 10yr old. Yut shared so much of his local knowledge, as well as Buddhist knowledge with everyone, which really gave a level up to the experience. He kept things moving when needed, and allowed extra time if nessicary. He also was a great photographer! We highly recommend this tour you get to see so many beautiful places. White, Blue, red and rainbow temples all included with lunch break. Its a long day but so we'll worth it. We are so happy we got to meet Yut and have him as our guide for the trip everyone absolutely LOVED it.

Had the most wonderful day visiting the temples of Chaing Rai. Well worth the extra expense to book this private tour. Our guide Tong was very kind personable, fun and he was able to tailor the trip to our wishes. Not only was he a fantastic guide full of knowledge, culture and history, Tong was an amazing photographer who captured so many awesome images that we would never otherwise have on a bigger group tour. Do not hesitate to book this for tour for your Chiang Rai day trip and put in a request for Tong! You will not be disappointed.

Please don’t hesitate and reserve this adventure immediately! Tony was an amazing guide. He took amazing care of me and shared knowledge about each temple and the surrounding areas. He made sure to make a couple of stops for restrooms, coffee and snacks. The time went by incredibly fast especially when having fun. There were numerous tour buses with a heard of unhappy people walking like zombies. My heart went out to them because my experience with Tong was completely magical! Per Tongs recommendation I had the most delicious coconut ice cream on earth! I promise you … you will not regret booking this tour.

We booked our Chiang Rai day trip with Pagoda Tour (May) having Mr. Tong pick us from Chiang Mai (white, blue and red temples with a hot spring stop), and he turned it into a fantastic and highly memorable tour experience. From the moment he picked us up, Mr. Tong was warm, organized, and incredibly thoughtful. The car was clean and comfortable, with water, tissues, and even delightful snacks prepared for us. On the drive, he shared a wealth of knowledge about northern Thai history, culture, Buddhism, local politics, hill tribes, agriculture, and everyday Thai life—always in a way that was easy to understand and never boring. At each temple (White, Blue, and Red), he didn’t just drop us off; he walked with us, explained the symbolism, the artists’ backgrounds, the stories behind the murals and statues, and how they connect to Thai beliefs and history. We came away feeling like we understood the places, not just “saw” them. He also knew the best photo spots and helped us take great pictures without ever making us feel rushed. The hot spring stop was also well-timed bonus and relaxing. Throughout the day he was funny, light-hearted, and easy to talk to, but also very respectful when we wanted some quiet time just to take things in. What really stood out was how considerate he is. He checked on our food preferences, suggested local Chiang Rai food to try, helped with small details like restroom stops and timing to avoid the worst crowds, and even offered tips for the rest of our stay in Thailand. You can tell he genuinely cares that his guests have a great experience and he absolutely goes the extra mile. If you’re thinking of doing a Chiang Rai day trip from Chiang Mai, we highly recommend asking for Mr. Tong. You don’t just get a driver—you get a knowledgeable guide, a cultural storyteller, a photographer, and a very kind person all in one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To sum up, in one word… incredible Chiang Rai experience

This was a wonderful experience all around. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Chiang Rai. Tong was a fantastic guide, our best on this long trip in all countries so far, who went above and beyond in making sure we were very well taken care of, and explaining what we saw while sharing jokes and stories along the way too. Mr Aed was a great driver too, safe and very smooth. Thank you to both!

This was a great day trip. Poon transported us the 3 hours, but managed not to make it feel that long, with breaks and stops along the way. Even stopping when we saw something that interested us. He was knowledgable, and so easy to work. We had a really great time seeing all the amazing temples in Chiang Rai, including the "bonus" Rainbow one, which happened to be having a ceremony at the time. He took care of getting our admission, as well. We went to eat, and I had the best Kao Soi I had experienced. It was overall a really great tour, and I would recommend this, and our very cool guide Poon.
