We had the best experience with Joe on our first trip and adventure in Charleston. His choice of restaurants for the food portion and his enthusiasm for the history of the city was exceptional and contagious. We’re already looking forward to returning the city and talking with Joe again.

I had such an amazing time on my food tour in Charleston today! Our guide, Perry, was incredibly friendly and super informative—he really brought the city to life with all the history and fun facts he shared along the way. We got to try so many incredible treats throughout the tour (honestly too many to even pick a favorite!), but the shrimp and grits, the chive and cheddar biscuit, and the “croffle” were definitely standouts—absolutely delicious. Everything about the experience was top-notch, from the food to the atmosphere to Perry’s great energy. Such a fun and memorable way to explore the city—highly recommend!

Nathan did a fantastic job of telling us the background of the many dishes we sampled. It’s a great way to get a true “taste” of Charleston. Appreciated the recommendations of places to eat and the recipes.
