Stroll through the vineyards, passing through the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of champagne. Tasting Brut tradition 2 cuts minimum, in the vineyards of the 1cru panoramic view of the Marne valley.

A lovely drive for a taste of real champagne

4.00This tour takes you on a lovely drive outside of Reims and into the heart of Champagne, where you are able to get up close and personal with the grapes that go into our favourite drink with bubbles. Christophe is knowledgeable about the region and makes for an entertaining host/driver. You sample two different local champagnes en plein air from the back of his Defender! The views over Chaméry and beyond to Reims are gorgeous. If you are looking to visit actual wineries/caves, this is not the tour for you.
No walking through the vineyards

1.00There was no walking. Four of us in the rear of the jeep had to sit with our backs to the windows so no panoramic. Terrible champagne and an unknowledgeable guide. A waste of 2 1/2 hours.

5.00Fantastic experience! Our guide was friendly and informative. We had a lovely ride through the vineyards and countryside, several tiny adorable villages, up to the top of the hills with a breathtaking view of the vineyards and Reims. Stopped along the way for photo opportunities and to see and learn about the grapes and harvest. The local champagne and little amuse-bouche our guide had for us at the top of the vineyard was delightful. He even dropped us at a location convenient for us to continue our day in the region. Highly recommend!

5.00Superb excursion on board the Defender of Christophe who made us take a wonderful tour in the villages and vineyards of Sacy, Écueil... we laughed, we drank, we went "wow", we said "hoooo", we clicked for incredible souvenir photos, we learned things. It was excellent. I recommend this tour suitable for all, young and old.
