You MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding to check in. We leave promptly at the scheduled time and cannot wait. When booking travel to the island please make sure to give enough time from arrival to island to get to tour departure location.
We are located on Catalina Island, You must secure transportation to the island to take the tour. There are no refunds if you miss the tour.
TRAVEL TO CATALINA IS NOT INCLUDED. Transportation needed by Ferry to Island.
Children Under 5 will not be able to participate in the tour.

What To Expect
Catalina Island
As you venture ten miles into the rugged interior, you will view the protected side of Catalina Island seldom seen by most visitors. Have the chance to encounter wildlife such as bison, deer, bald eagles, ravens, or even the Catalina Island fox. There is a photo opportunity around every turn as we climb to the Airport-in-the-Sky. At this stop, visit the Nature Center and peer down at one of Catalina’s original Native American gathering sites. The fee to the Catalina Island Conservancy directly supports the preservation of the animals, endangered species, and endemic plants on Catalina Island. Tours leave from The Cabrillo Mole. **we highly suggest you secure transportation to Catalina island prior to booking tour to confirm you can get to the tour as the boat to the island sells out quickly. Catalina Express or Newport Flyer for your transportation needs.

4.00Tour operators were friendly and very organized. Easy to find meeting location. So close to wear cruise ship water shuttles drop off that I almost missed it thinking it was further away then it actually was. Don't book this tour if your sole reason for doing so is seeing animals. We saw one fox and that was it. Seeing the inner part of the island and learning about the islands history was still great, but if your primary motivation is animal encounters, look elsewhere or set your expectation accordingly.

4.00Truly wonderful driver and tour guide. The views are truly breathtaking and similar to Hawaii! My only complaint was the ride was super bumpy and not back friendly. If you’re young, probably no big deal. But for 50’s and up it was a little rough.

2.00This was a disappointment. This is essentially the same as a shuttle ride to the airport - you might as well do that, as you'll be able to stay at the airport for more than 10 minutes. There are no other stops on this tour, none for views or photo opportunities. We had a 5 second stop for a fox near the road. The guide, David, prattled non-stop, and he offered a lot of myths/folklore but presented them as fact. No, David, Pio Pico didn't actually trade the Island for a horse; Catalina pottery didn't cease production because of "too much iron in the pottery that made people sick"; and Ada Wrigley didn't create the chimes near Zane Grey's property to annoy him, etc.
