What a great tour. Shane was really knowledgeable and helpful. It was really good to chat with the brewer at one of the breweries and have them explain the process. Great beers, great fun. Thank you!

This is our third tour with Dave's, and the first in Canberra. An afternoon well spent with Shane and three very different breweries. Lots of knowledge about the beers, breweries and brewers, and the first time I've drunk beer holding my nose! We recommend this if you're in Canberra.

My neighbours know I like a good beer, so for my 60th they gave me a 'Cap3in3' gift voucher which I promptly pinned on the notice board and forgot about until the week before it expired. I finally got organised so my wife (who loves a good beer) and two neighbours booked the tour. Now if you do the math you can get a lot of beer and Uber for the same price - but we're always keen to support local business so off we went. The tour is not about volume, it's all about discovering the great craft beers make in the National Capital and learning how it's done. Our tour guide, Shane, was very knowledgeable on all things beer and gave a very interesting and informative description of the process at Zierholz, the first brewery. While learning about the process we sampled four or so of Christoph's awesome German beers. Then it was on to the Wig and Pen where we saw a more traditional style of brewing and sampled more great beers, accompanied by a Jazz band. The tour wound up where it started back at Bentspoke for even more great beverages. If you are just looking to get hammered this tour is not for you, but if you want an enjoyable afternoon learning about beer and beer making while sampling great Canberra craft beers, then you will love the Capital 3in3 tour.

This place was awesome 😎🍻🍺 a bit out of the way in the industrial area. But the selection of beer was excellent. Now be prepared to have a plan B a majority of their beers are high % alcohol. But every one of them Delicious 🍻🍻🍻 You are sitting next to the vats of the warehouse. There is music playing & when we visited it was crowded. Brodburger’s have a caravan in there to provide burgers, hotdogs & hot chips. We had their veggie burger and it was the best burger I have eaten yet in the last 12mths. Do yourself, friends, loved one a favour & come out to try what’s on offer🙏🏽

I did this with one friend, and we actually ended up with a private tour. The pubs we go to I frequent anyway, but found it interesting to go behind the scenes and learn about how beer is made. Was a afternoon day out!

So first up, I'm not a beer aficionado, but I was gifted a voucher to go on a tour and took a friend who was a beer lover and it proved to be a great afternoon. I've come away knowing way more about beer than I previously did, I also discovered some new places in Canberra that I will definitely return to with friends, I had a really fun afternoon with Shane and his friend Ben who was helping out. It was well worth the afternoon and I tried so many unusual and different beers - it was great!
