  A trip above the clouds on cloudy day was great looking at the mountain tops ,It was good to travel by the train from Lucerne and the climb the mountain in the old funicular and then the cable car into thesun

  Though the weather wasn't perfect, it was still a great afternoon on the Stanserhorn. Sitting atop the Cabrio was a unique experience (I still don't get how something that big and heavy glides effortlessly to the peak); and our guide, Uli, was simply fantastic- simply a wealth of information on the Stanserhorn itself as well as the surrounding area.   Our guide, Michael was great! The cable car ride was amazing. Unfortunately the weather was stormy so we didn’t see much. Suggest checking out the weather and canceling before 24 hours of the tour, unless you are ok with not seeing much. We actually had a blast! A hike in the rain, the eeriness of the clouds we were in and warm tea afterwards.

  that was a nice tour to spend the afternoon. cableway ride is spectacular, tourguide had reserved seats on the cablecar for us and we were just 4 in our group. views from the top are stunning and overall it was a perfect experience with a fantastic local guide.

  fantastic half-day tour to pass the afternoon in Luzern. tourguide took us on a short train ride to a village where we got on the cable car. as there were not many people, the ride up by cablecar was really a great adventure. after walking around on top and enjoying the panorama, we started the return. tourguide did a great job for this short tour.

  The afternoon tour to Stanserhorn was absolutely stunning. The ride up with the open-air cable car was a highlight in itself, offering breathtaking views all the way. At the top, we had plenty of time to soak in the scenery, take photos, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere above the clouds. Our guide was friendly and informative, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. A perfect way to spend the afternoon – highly recommended!

  First I have to note that the Stanser Hornbahn and the CabriO gondolas belong together. You have to get on one of the two gondolas to get up to the mountain station after you have taken the StanserHorn cable car. The special thing about the CabriO gondola is that you can climb to the roof of the gondola via a spiral staircase. This distinguishes the gondola lift to Stanser'Horn from other gondola lifts.

  Great tour by Abraham!! Train to Stanz, then funicular to 714m elevation and then a spectacular ride through the clouds to the summit of Stanserhorn at 1900m in the new double-decker cable car!! Wonderful lunch in the revolving restaurant at the top!!

  I think this was the best thing I did in all of Switzerland. I was there for 10 days and went to 12 cities. You take an open air cable way called the Cabrio to the top.

  The first part of the ascent of the Stanserhorn is by funicular and it is possible to travel in the very front or rear compartment where you get the most wonderful views. Then you transfer on to the unique "cabrio" cable car, where you can stand on the upper outside deck, where you really feel at one with the elements as you gently ascend to the top of the mountain. Once at the top there are the most amazing views of Lake Luzern and the nearby mountain ranges. Of course there is the risk that you ascend into the cloud in which case you can't see a thing! If you like walking there are also loads of walks in the area. whilst at the top there is a lovely cafe and restaurant. Best of all if you have a Swiss Pass then the journey is free.
