The exclusive VIP access to Badaling Great Wall arranged for you is complimentary. If this VIP access is closed for any reason, no refund will be provided as it is a complimentary service.
Ticket fees are not included in the tour package. However, our driver or guide will assist with ticket arrangements on the day of the tour, so you don’t need to worry about tickets being sold out or purchase them in advance.
Two tour packages are available: Transfer-Only and Transfer + Guide. Please select the package based on your actual needs.
The total duration of the tour is approximately 8–9 hours. If you wish to extend the tour beyond 9 hours, an additional fee of RMB 100 per hour will be charged for the driver. If you have selected the Transfer + Guide Package, the additional fee will be RMB 200 per hour (RMB 100 for the driver and RMB 100 for the guide respectively).
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Explore Beijing’s iconic Badaling Great Wall and Summer Palace with our premium private tour—tailored for comfort and hassle-free travel. Choose from two packages, and we will help arrange tickets for both (tickets are at your own expense): our driver or guide will assist with ticketing procedures on the day, letting you focus on sightseeing. Package Options: 1) Transfer-Only: Private round-trip transport from your downtown Beijing hotel; 2) Transfer + Guide: Private transport plus a professional local guide to enhance your exploration with in-depth explanations. Both packages ensure a stress-free travel experience. Your tour starts with a punctual meet-up at your hotel lobby—you will be greeted by your driver (or driver and guide, depending on your package). Then you’ll board an air-conditioned private vehicle for the approximately 1.5-hour journey to Badaling Great Wall. During the ride, you can relax and refresh yourself with complimentary snacks and drinks provided on board. Even if you choose the Transfer-Only Package, there’s no need to worry about communication issues, as our drivers are equipped with multi-language translators to assist with your needs at any time. Upon arrival at Badaling Great Wall, you can skip the long queues with our exclusive VIP access. For Transfer-Only guests, the driver will wait for you at the designated parking lot while you enjoy free independent exploration. If you’ve opted for the Transfer + Guide Package, your guide will accompany you to climb the Great Wall, sharing fascinating historical stories and leaving you ample free time for photos. After exploring Badaling, we’ll head to the Summer Palace: the driver will drop you off at the entrance, and for Transfer-Only guests, the driver will wait in the parking lot until you finish your visit. For guests with a guide, the guide will accompany you into the Summer Palace, design the optimal visiting route for you, lead you to explore the key attractions, explain the stories behind the garden, and introduce the life of Empress Dowager Cixi in the Summer Palace during the late Qing Dynasty as well as her status in the Qing Dynasty. After the Summer Palace tour, the driver will take you back to your hotel safely. The entire tour lasts approximately 8–9 hours. In addition, we will arrange the vehicle type according to the number of booked guests, ranging from 5-seater cars to 55-seater coaches, ensuring everyone has sufficient space to travel comfortably.

5.00Very easy to book. Our driver Sun was lovely and did everything he could to make sure we had a fantastic day. He explained everything thoroughly and pointed out historical places along the way. He organised tickets for us and made sure we understood where to go etc. He was thoughtful in finding us good places to eat and stop along the way. This service took all the stress of having to navigate public transportation in an unfamiliar environment. We had a great day with Sun😊😊

5.00We had a great trip with Susan as our guide and Wang Guo Wang as our driver. They were really punctual and very friendly. The car was very comfortable, modern and clean and Wang was a great and safe driver. We were able to be very flexible with the itinerary because it was a privare trip and this really worked for us. We really appreciated Wang putting in extra effort to take us to the Birds Nest and this was a great extra. Susan was a great guide, friendly, knowledgable and well organised. We would book another trip like this one and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you both!

5.00Great tour. Lucy was a great guide. I learned a lot and really enjoyed it. They were on time, they gave me some flexibility with which section of the wall to visit, and she was very helpful throughout. I would definitely take the option with a guide, as it can be confusing to navigate the whole wall area. It's quite busy, but worth seeing.
