กินข้าวแล้วหรือยัง - It’s the Thai way to greet a friend - its literal translation is ‘Have you eaten rice yet?!’ There's no better way to highlight the importance of eating in Thailand in this food obsessed city.
Our tour was carefully curated and will take you on a journey through the backstreets of Bangkok, mopping up a 15+ taster menu in street spots and eateries that have been serving locals for decades. We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.
Not recommended for pregnant travelers

Chinatown - Bangkok
Many are unaware of China's centuries-long influence on Thailand that has permeated much of Thai cuisine. From noodles to stir-fry, it's time to feast on the history of this culinary marriage. In small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests, our passionate foodie guides take you on a journey around the alleyways of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown. I highly recommend this experience! Sally was a great guide, talked about history, culture and how it shaped food, walked us through market’s backstreets and gave us a really great tasting menu of Thai street food. I’m an adventurous eater, and I really enjoyed the strange ingredients I got to learn about and taste in the preparations. I don’t want to give away too much about the menu, but I had my clear favorites, and as we went on this tour, I also added my own additional stops for things like durian, pandan custard along the way. You’ll be on your feet with breaks to sit at each restaurant over the 12 or so stops over 4 hours with 14ish food items to taste, with bio breaks built in and they’ll supply the water.

Great tour. The guides were so knowledgeable of the area history, residents, food, and attentive to group member needs. They set a great relaxing pace and the chosen restaurants are delicious. Guides were personable and f7n. Always smiling and making jokes with the geoup and locals. Besides food you also get to see different areas of the city you might not otherwise go. I went on a tour at sundown so some alleys lined with stores were closed but we also got to see the areas lit up at night with so many neon signs and buzzing pedestrian traffic that comes along with that. I'm an athletic person and didn't have any issue with the walking though there was a bit. I was skeptical about being full from some tastings but was definitely proven wrong. So many varied dishes, more than enough to go around, and even a few more than what was detailed in the itinerary. I didn't understand the boast of having two guides but it made total sense after the first couple restaurants. One guide is contantly with you while another goes out ahead to make sure tables are secured, makes sure orders are put in prior to arrival, and/or brings food from smaller crowded stalls. Great time, great dinner alternative for a night, and highly recommended. (First time Thailand) Booking Reference BR-1339272325

experienced. Our guide was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly detailed in explaining each cuisine and its cultural background. His sidekick, Ninja, made sure we had everything we needed throughout the tour, which made the experience even smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, it was an outstanding tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable food experience.

A really fun, informal, well organised for tour. You get to try a lot of different foods and they are all delicious. There's no scorpions or anything like that on the menu! Jonny was our tour host and he was funny and attentive, he really made the night great fun. Another team member runs ahead to the next venue so that there is always a table waiting for you and you don't wait long for the food. Go hungry as you will eat a lot on this tour!

We loved our food tour of Chinatown! Johnny was an engaging, funny guide who gave us great insights on the food, neighborhood, and restaurants we visited. Definitely come to this tour hungry; we had 16 separate dishes across eight different restaurants over the span of four hours. We got to try some of the best food in Chinatown and it was worth feeling very full afterwards. Definitely a lot of walking on this one as well; bring good shoes and have a great time.

I didn’t believe 5 stars was possible but now I understand why. The food quality and variety was delicious. Our guide Nood and her team were amazing and I highly recommend.

It was so much more than I was expecting with a lot of food so you do need to take your appetite with you! It was very interesting hearing the stories of each of the chefs/restaurants and then eating their food which was so tasty. We went to areas I would never have gone on my own and ate the most amazing foods so I loved it.

We were a family of 4 adults and 1 child visiting Thailand for 4 weeks. Whilst in Bangkok for 7 days we joined the food tour with Pang. What a fabulous time we had. Pang was so organised, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very plentiful and so, so good. We even loved the soy sauce icecream. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok. Not only do you eat fabulous food but you also get the chance to walk around the backstreets of China Town.
